Location conditions of Ji 'an

Ji 'an City is located in the southeast of Jilin Province, facing the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and China across the Yalu River in the southeast, with a border of 203.5 kilometers. It is one of the three major ports of China to the DPRK. It borders Liaoning Province in the southwest and Tonghua City in the north. The climate is pleasant, the four seasons are distinct and the scenery is beautiful. Known as the "Little Jiangnan" of Jilin. The whole city covers an area of 32 17 square kilometers, governs 1 provincial economic development zones,1township, 3 streets and 126 administrative villages, with a total population of 230373. There are 9 ethnic groups including Han, Korean and Manchu. It is an important town in the northeastern border of China and an important commodity distribution center in Changbai Mountain. Ji' an city has a sub-temperate continental climate, and the Laoling Mountain Range of Changbai Mountain runs through the whole territory from northeast to southwest. This is a high temperature and rainy area in Jilin Province, with pleasant climate and beautiful scenery, and is known as "Little South of Jilin". The average annual temperature in the city is 6.5 degrees Celsius, the frost-free period is about 150 days, and the annual precipitation is 800-1000 mm.
