The tower of Chaozhou Mansion, the tower of Outing Tenghui in Shantou City, is called Pengzhou Tower. Tenghui Pagoda, one of the eight scenic spots in Outing in the past and the first ancient building in Outing, was included in the book Appreciation of Pagoda in China published by Tongji University Press.

Tenghui Tower was built in the third year of Qingganlong (1738) by Xin Changwu, a native of Outing Township, Chenghai County. This tower belongs to the Feng Shui Tower rammed by Beihuisha, and it is one of the ancient pagodas rammed by Beihuisha in Chaozhou during the Qianlong period. The appearance of this rammed earth tower was influenced by the way building materials were used at that time. The plane of the tower is hexagonal, with seven floors and a height of 20.3 meters. Ground floor periphery17m, and the tower is hollow. There are more than two double eaves, with pot-shaped doors on six sides of each floor. The tower brake of this seven-story pavilion pagoda is actually a five-story pavilion pagoda, which is similar in shape to the tower body. Rigorous structure, magnificent momentum. It is a rare building structure with a tower on top in China. In order to solve the bearing capacity problem of the lower floor, the architects of Tenghui Building are ingenious. The bottom three floors of the tower are almost completely compacted, leaving only stairs, and the wall of the first floor is one meter thick. The four floors above were rammed into hollow towers, and the floor was paved, leaving a doorway for viewing. In this way, the lower three floors of the tower actually become a solid tower foundation, bearing only four walls, which greatly strengthens the firmness of the rammed earth tower. This reasonable design shows the wisdom of the architect.

The tower plaque "Tenghui Tower" is inscribed with the words "Qianlong was built in the spring of three years, and five topics are prosperous". The couplets on both sides of the tower gate are called "clouds steaming Xia Wei's seven-story grand view, and the five ridges are full of clothes", which is also the five questions of Xinchang. 1965438+February, 2008 13 (the afternoon of the third day of the first month), the top of the tower gate tilted and the tower body swayed with many cracks. As a feng shui tower, Tenghui Tower was not far from the sea at that time, so it had a very practical function at that time, which was to play the role of navigation. This tower has been built for more than 200 years. Although it has been damaged by wind, rain and earthquake, its appearance is basically intact, adding beautiful scenery to Ou Ting. It is also of great value to study the history, culture, ancient architecture art and folk cultural activities in Chaoshan area. Sanshanwang Temple in Ou Ting, Shantou City is several miles away from Fiona Fang, Ou Ting Village, Shantou City. There are four ancient temples of Sanshanwang, which were built during the reign of Qing Qianlong and Tongzhi respectively. After several times of construction and reconstruction, it is now enshrined by local people. This is a place of folk belief.

1. Hengcheng Ancient Temple, commonly known as the Second Wangye Temple, is located on the left side of Gouting Zhengguo Temple, facing south, with an area of about140m2. It was built in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and then rebuilt. The existing ancient temple was built in 1994. The door plaque is "Hengcheng Ancient Temple". There are also worshippers, quitters and parents on both sides. The two emperors enshrined in the "Hengcheng Ancient Temple" have two ladies sitting together, which is unique among many Sanshanwang temples in Lingdong and overseas, and has a touching love story. According to legend, during the Tongzhi period, when the Ye Temple of King Sanshan was built in Guan Yi Village, the people transported the statue of Mrs. Wang Ye back after it was made. It rained heavily and it was late, so they had to go to Erwangye Temple to take shelter from the rain. The next day, the statue of the lady moved back to Wangye Temple. As soon as it was put in the niche, the lady fell down, as if the big prince had not allowed her to spend the night in Wangye Temple. People had to move her back to the second prince to be the wife of the big prince, so the second prince of Hengcheng Ancient Temple had two ladies sitting together. It is said that every year since then, when worshipping God on the twelfth day of the first month, the "Hengcheng Ancient Temple" has to block the door with a broom to prevent the third prince on the gull from taking it out on the eldest prince and hitting the second prince. Another way of saying it is: In the fourth year of Tongzhi, when the third Wangye Temple was built in Auchan Village, Mrs. Wang Ye was brought back like a sculpture. When it rained on the road, she went to the Second Wangye Temple to shelter from the rain. The rain stopped, and everyone went to move the portrait of the lady, but when they moved it, they fell down, as if the lady fell in love with the second prince and didn't want to leave. People had to leave her to the second prince and build a statue of the third prince's wife. In fact, this should be a manifestation of the temporal variability of folk culture, and also a manifestation of the open consciousness of Outing people in the late Qing Dynasty.

He also erected a monument and said, "Xianfeng has been ugly for three years." In April, the Fourth Society gladly donated construction. Linshe, Xushe, Lushe, Zhanghe, Huanghe and Qiushe ". In view of the aging of the ancient temple, it was rebuilt in September 2000 at the initiative of rural elders and overseas Chinese, which made the ancient temple look brand-new. On the east side of the front wall of the temple, there is a fragrant wall and an inscription. The inscription on the tablet is "Wanggu Temple", and the inscription is "Engraving on auspicious days in Xia Yue during the Qianlong and Renchen years". The roof of Qian Dian Hall is decorated with a double dragon to win the treasure, and the porcelain stories of flowers and birds are inlaid at both ends of the hall, which is dazzling. This ancient temple is connected by three entrances. The entrance to the foyer is the Baiting Pavilion, and there are dragon and tiger wells on both sides of the pavilion. Baiting Pavilion is the connected back hall. This hall is dedicated to the wives of the great king, the second king and the third king. The plaque reads "protect me and benefit the people", and the couplet reads "The national war will last forever, and the princes will enjoy the future". When Wangye Temple was founded, it was composed of five surnames of Zhang, Li, Guo, Chen and Xin on Gulangyu Island. It was managed by ten clubs, and then it was changed to take turns on the tenth floor. Every year, a representative of the elderly in a building goes to St. Wang Ye Temple to apply for a visa. He chooses a day to wander between the second day and the sixth day of the second lunar month, that is, the "Lantern Head", and then holds a small-scale "Lantern Head and Tail" on the twelfth day of the first month of the following year. Every building has a "Lantern Head" every ten years, so there is a saying "Li. Z Guo, ten years of' camp' god. " This is a unique folk cultural phenomenon in Chaoshan area.
