Picture book content:

The cover of this picture book is a big cat with green eyes and stripes like a tiger. Yes, it is the protagonist of the picture book-tabby cat. Did you notice it carefully? The tabby cat on the cover is actually standing like a human being, with two green eyes looking at us outside the screen. Hands clenched, slightly bent on the chest, tail tilted to the left. What's he thinking?

Both sides of the picture book are blank pages, which gives people unlimited imagination space and the thinking brought by this picture book.

The tabby cat on the title page is different from that on the cover. Although the tabby cat on the title page is standing, its arms are open, its hands are no longer clenched, its tail turns from cocked to drooping, and its eyes are softer. Open arms seem to want to hug a person.

Text:

The tabby cat used to be a king's cat, a sailor's cat, a circus pet's cat, a thief's cat, an old lady's cat, and a sister-in-law's cat ... 654.38+ten thousand people loved him and cried for his death, but the tabby cat never cried once.

This part of the painting style is exaggerated, deformed, grotesque, gloomy and obscure.

Later, the tabby cat was no longer someone else's cat. He became a wild cat, and any female cat wanted to be his bride. Tabby doesn't want it. He only loves himself. And there is a beautiful white cat who doesn't look at tabby cats, but tabby cats like white cats and stay with them all the time.

They have many kittens. Cats like white cats and kittens better than themselves. He wanted to live with the white cat forever ... Finally, the white cat died and the tabby cat refused to be reborn.

As Mr. Chen said in his book,

The style of this part of the picture book suddenly changed, bright, delicate, poetic, soft and affectionate. This makes the theme and content of the work fully presented.

The back ring lining page is still a blank page, leaving the reader with room for imagination.

On the back cover of the picture book is a picture of tabby cat and white cat. They abandoned us. Although we can't see the expressions on their faces, we can already feel their happiness from the tabby cat's hands on the white cat's shoulders and their snuggling figures. This may also be what the author wants to express to us. The tabby cat never came back to life because he already had a white cat.
