Beijing's wedding custom-the bride and groom must eat jiaozi before sleeping together. After the woman's family "urges makeup" at the man's house, she will immediately send the dowry to the man's house to install a new house.

When the bride arrives at the man's door, the groom will hold a bow and arrow and shake it at the bride's feet three times to drive away evil spirits. Then the bride can cross the brazier and enter the door.

Then, the bride and groom pay homage to heaven and earth, enter the new house to settle accounts, eat "Pastor Tong" (jiaozi) and longevity noodles together, and drink a toast.

On the third day after marriage, the new uncle accompanied his new wife back to the door and bowed down to her parents-in-law.
