The activities of Chenghuang Temple

"Huangcheng" Temple Fair is a traditional folk activity in our city, which has been listed as the intangible cultural heritage of Jieyang City. Every year, the streets and alleys of Rongcheng are covered with colorful flags and gongs and drums. The wandering gods performed lion and dragon dances, sang and danced, and men, women and children went out of the city, praying for good weather, peace and prosperity.

The fugue team consists of Huang Cheng Sacrifice Team, Lion Dance Team, Dragon Dance Team and English Song Team. Wherever he went, he attracted countless citizens to stop and watch. The buildings along the street that the motorcade passed were crowded with people, and the Jinxianmen Building was also crowded. For the convenience of watching, some citizens even set up a "man" ladder on the roadside. Near Jinxianmen, an old man was unable to move, and his family joined the team to meet God with a wheelchair. Another old man followed the wandering team all the way.
