The author and dynasty of A Dream of Red Mansions

The author Cao Xueqin was from the Qing Dynasty. A Dream of Red Mansions, written in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, is a classical novel in chapter and verse style, one of the four classical novels in China, one of the greatest novels in ancient China and one of the world literary classics. Also known as Stone Story, Love Monk Record, Yue Feng Treasure Mirror, Twelve Women in Jinling and Baoyu Yuan. Author Cao Xueqin. The most popular version in the red circle is Red Yanzhai Re-evaluating the Stone Story (see the version description of A Dream of Red Mansions for details). This book explains Zhouyi theory by anthropomorphic method. For example, the technique of twelve women representing the reincarnation of twelve earthly branches will become the key to the study of redology in the future.

Many sequels have been published because of the loss of the ending of the original book. According to statistics, there are more than 100 sequels to A Dream of Red Mansions. The famous sequencers are Gu Taiqing, a talented woman in Qing Dynasty, and Gao E, a sequencer or collator of popular books. For example, from Gao E's poems in the last forty chapters, it can be seen that the author of the sequel strongly advocates the feudal poison of superstitious karma and nihilistic fatalism, which seriously distorts the ideological tendency of the novel to expose and attack the real political and social darkness.
