I. Analysis of 20 links in the whole decoration process

(1) Pre-design

The same is construction. The difference between people and bees is that the construction of bees is a reflection of instinct, and before construction, people will form ideas and frameworks in their minds. Therefore, if we compare home improvement to a battle, then the preliminary design of home improvement is the "battle plan" of this battle and the "soul bond" of home improvement. So in the last issue of "Made in Tangliang", Diekang talked about the problems that need attention in the early design, so I won't go into details here.

In the early design, students must do one thing, that is, make a detailed measurement of their rooms. Don't be lazy, you'd better do it yourself. The measurement contents mainly include:

1. Define the areas involved in the renovation process. Especially tile area, wall paint area, wallpaper area and floor area;

2, clear the bearing wall size. Especially it is necessary to design the wall size of furniture in the future.

I remember when my foreman finally settled the total payment for laying bricks with me according to the "actual quantity", he measured more area than I did 10 square meter. I was really in distress situation. After re-measuring, the foreman turned and reprimanded the bricklayer and said, "How did you measure it? ! "So I suggest you test it yourself. Decorating many places is the same as being a man-we may not know it very well, but we must know it in our hearts.

By the way, don't forget to go to the property to go through the construction procedures and pay the decoration deposit before starting work.

(two) the main body is removed or changed.

When entering the construction stage, the main body removal is the first project, which mainly includes wall removal, wall building, wall skin removal, heating removal, plastic steel window replacement and so on. To put it bluntly, the main body demolition is to put up the framework of the construction site first.

(3) Hydropower transformation

Before the water circuit reform, the main structure should be basically completed. Some students may know that it is the first time to measure the cabinet between hydropower transformation and main body demolition. The so-called initial measurement of cabinets has no actual content, because the walls and floors have not been treated, and it is impossible for cabinet designers to give specific design dimensions, but only put forward some relevant suggestions on the positions of water inlets and lampblack machine sockets reserved by developers. Mainly includes:

1, to see whether the position of the lampblack machine socket affects the installation of lampblack machine in the future;

2. See if the location of the water meter is appropriate;

3. See if the location of the water inlet is convenient for installing the sink in the future.

For the first measurement of cabinets, students with a little experience can do it by themselves. After the waterway reconstruction is completed, it is best to waterproof the bathroom immediately. The kitchen generally doesn't need to be waterproof.

Some students have always believed that before the renovation, some main materials should enter the site in advance. What I want to say is that unless it is the main material needed for the demolition and reconstruction of the main body, the entry time of the main materials such as tiles and large core boards should be after the hydropower reconstruction. Because if the circuit transformation involves slotting on the ground, the tiles and large core boards are not properly placed, and it is very troublesome for workers to walk around. Two days ago, "Mouse" told me that her family had encountered the problem of workers moving bricks back and forth in the house, so she wanted to remind her classmates.

(4) Woodworking

Woodworking, bricklayer and oiler are the "three brothers" in the construction process, and the basic order of appearance is: wood-tile-oil. The basic entry principle is-whoever is dirty goes first. "Who gets dirty first" is also one of the basic principles to determine the order of home improvement, which I will mention later.

In fact, carpentry such as riser, decorative ceiling and plastering line can also be considered as a fine link in the main body demolition and reconstruction in a sense, which does not conflict with the water circuit reconstruction, and sometimes needs some cooperation. For example, as mentioned in my last post, "If you are going to make a fake wall at home, you should consider whether there are water and electricity lines on the fake wall. If there are, let the water and electricity reconstruction workers embed the pipes."

(5) Tiling

If the workers are busy, the foreman will usually ask the "second bricklayer" to stick bricks in the field before the "carpenter boss" finishes. This is normal, because the two do not conflict.

During the operation of "bricklayer's second child", the installation of the following three links is also involved:

1. Installation of lintels and marble windowsills. The installation of the threshold can be completed together with the floor tile laying, or after the floor tile laying. Generally, after the window cover is completed, the marble installation union prepares glass glue and seals the marble and window cover with glass glue.

2. Install the floor drain. Floor drain is the first hardware in home decoration, because it should be installed with floor tiles. Therefore, students should buy a floor drain as soon as possible when they start shopping for building materials.

3. Installation of range hood. The range hood is the first appearance of household appliances. After the kitchen walls and tiles are paved, you can consider installing a range hood.

"The second child of the bricklayer" left the scene. At this time, you can measure the cupboard for the second time. Accurately speaking, after the kitchen wall tiles are pasted and the range hood is installed, the second measurement of the cabinet can be carried out.

(6) Paint the wall

The "Third Oil Worker" enters the site, mainly completing the basic treatment of the wall surface, painting the top coat and brushing the furniture made by the "carpenter". Students who are ready to paste wallpaper only need to let the "third oil worker" do basic treatment on the wall surface where wallpaper is planned. As for whether I left my coat for the last time, I personally don't think it is necessary to take this question too seriously. From my experience in decoration, it is of little significance to leave the top coat, because the operation behind is not dirtier than painting.

Write here, fight for breath and chat with you. When the "eldest", "second" and "third" left the scene one after another, many students thought that their decoration was coming to an end. In fact, according to the link, less than a third of people do. Everyone has this feeling because it is generally understood that decoration is only the "construction link" of decoration, but in fact, the "installation link" of decoration is also the focus of decoration.

If the "design link" is to "conceive" what our future home will look like, then the "construction link" is to "package" our home, and the real "equipment" is almost in the "installation link". Take a sip of water and go on. ...

(7) Ceiling of kitchen and bathroom

As an installation link, the cabinet ceiling is still continuing the "packaging" of the home. At the same time as the ceiling of the kitchen and bathroom, the moisture-proof ceiling lamp and exhaust fan (Yuba) of the kitchen and bathroom should have been bought. It is best for students to install ceiling lamps and exhaust fans (Yuba) in the kitchen and bathroom at the same time, otherwise thread ends and holes will be left.

By the way, I firmly advocate "decoration outsourcing theory", even if the foreman promised me how to standardize the water and electricity decoration of his workers, how to standardize the installation of aluminum gusset plates, how to make wooden doors strong, how to professionally paste wallpaper, and how to make cabinets practical ... In my opinion, what the decoration team can do is carpentry, tiling and painting.

Because I believe that professional construction, manufacturers' installation standards and assembly line products are mostly slightly better than the manual work of decoration team workers. Decoration is like a game, betting on workers' skills, so I don't bet on "my workers are architectural geniuses"

Many students let the decoration company and decoration team undertake a lot of construction tasks. On the one hand, they don't have enough time, on the other hand, they consider the problem of "project convergence". Originally decided to outsource hydropower transformation, neighbors reminded it would be very troublesome in the future.

In fact, every link of the decoration is very independent. I remember some time ago, some students in the south raised questions, saying that the owners invited special workers to do every link of the decoration in their hometown. Home decoration and so on really have nothing to do with it. On the contrary, students themselves should play the so-called "connecting role" as much as possible in the process of home decoration, accurately grasp the selection of materials, master some simple construction techniques, and handle the relationship with workers well. This is the key.

I really want to say that there is a problem because of "convergence", such as who is responsible for the installation of sanitary ware, lamps and hardware in the later period. On the one hand, it depends on how you get along with the workers, and finally whether anyone is willing to "manage" you; On the other hand, when it comes to nobody's interest, I still say, "Since God invented money, there is no problem that cannot be solved.".

Decoration, quality always ranks first, which is the main contradiction and the big principle. Some links because "convergence" is a secondary contradiction. Students should be cautious while preparing to make concessions on major contradictions and major principles because of minor contradictions.

(8) Install the kitchen cabinet

After the ceiling is completed, you can make an appointment to install the cabinet at home. If it goes well, it can be finished in one day. At the same time, there are sinks (excluding water fittings) and gas stoves. It is best to coordinate the property to turn on the gas before the cabinet is installed, because the gas stove needs to be tested after installation.

By the way, speaking of suspended ceiling, there is a problem worth discussing. Many students choose waterproof gypsum board with waterproof paint as kitchen and bathroom ceiling. The quotation of decoration team is generally above 120 yuan per square meter, which is more expensive than ordinary aluminum gusset plate and PVC gusset plate ceiling. The gypsum board ceiling looks flat visually, but in case there is a problem with the top water pipe in the future, or there is water leakage upstairs and the downstairs needs maintenance, the gypsum board ceiling will be removed as a whole, which is much more troublesome than the gusset ceiling. Therefore, everyone should be careful when choosing gypsum board ceiling.

(9) Wooden door installation

The second day after the cabinet was installed, as early as more than a month ago, after the wooden door was measured, it can be installed now. If it goes well, it will be a day. At the same time, hinges, door locks and floor drains should be installed. Students should prepare related hardware in advance.

If you want the wooden door manufacturer to install the window cover and pass it, you should also measure it when the wooden door manufacturer measures it, and install it at the same time on the day when the wooden door is installed. At the same time, you should consider putting the installation time of marble windowsill backward after the window cover is installed.

Remarks: The production cycle of wooden doors is generally one month. Therefore, in order to make the construction period closely connected, wooden door manufacturers should go to the door to measure the size of the door opening as soon as possible after the main body is demolished and rebuilt. Regarding the treatment of the doorway, it should be noted that if the height of the doorway at home is inconsistent, workers need to treat it at the same height-beautiful.

(10) Floor installation

The floor can be installed the day after the wooden door is installed. If all goes well, it will take a day. The floor installation needs to pay attention to the following issues:

1. Before the floor is installed, it is best to let the manufacturer come to the door to investigate whether the ground needs leveling or partial leveling. Some decoration companies or teams will advise students to level the ground or partially level it, subject to the actual investigation of the floor manufacturer;

2. Before the floor is installed, the floor paved at home should be cleaned to ensure the floor is dry, so do not use water during the cleaning process.

3. When installing the floor, if possible, the floor must be cut in the corridor. The forum also discussed this issue before, and some students thought it was immoral to cut the floor pollution area in the corridor. My idea is to clean up after completion, which doesn't matter. Cutting the floor indoors has serious pollution to the wall surface, and there is also the cutting of artificial stone countertops in cabinets. I believe all the students who have been decorated have some experience.

(1 1) Laying wallpaper

The next day after the floor is installed, the home is ready, and you can make an appointment to paste wallpaper. If it goes well, the same day will do. If possible, the floor should be protected on the day of wallpaper pasting; It doesn't matter if there are no conditions, and it's no problem to leave the wallpaper glue left on the floor to Pioneer for cleaning. Before pasting the wallpaper, try to make the wall "nothing".

(12) Installation of radiator

The day after the wallpaper is laid, students who have replaced or removed the radiator can hang the radiator on the wall in a down-to-earth manner. It's also a day.

Wooden door-floor-wallpaper-radiator, which is recognized as the correct installation sequence. Install the wooden door first to ensure that the skirting line of the floor can be closely connected with the door cover of the wooden door; After the wallpaper was installed, it was mainly because the floor was dirty and dusty, which seriously polluted the wallpaper. Here I use the principle of "whoever is dirty first" again. Finally, install the radiator, because the radiator can only be installed after the wallpaper is laid on the wall.

The gradual renovation process is also designed under various constraints and restrictions. Occasionally there are exceptions. For example, the Holtz door needs to be fitted with the floor first and then the door, but this exception is rare in the decoration process.

In addition, I said "one day" many times before, which means to remind students that "one day" is not a long time for the whole decoration, so even if there is no installation conflict, such as cabinets and wooden doors, students should try not to make an appointment for two installations at the same time in one day, especially the "big pieces" mentioned above, because the installation is very critical for these "big pieces", and it is best to specialize. Learn to comfort yourself-we were not bad that day.

(13) switch socket installation

There is only one reminder: students should have a detailed understanding or record of the number and location of switch sockets in various natural rooms at home, especially those who paste wallpaper. Sometimes wallpaper workers are irresponsible, and the wallpaper is laid at once, and you don't need wallpaper knife to mark the position of your switch socket. So students still need to know for themselves.

(14) Installation of lamps and lanterns

Install the lights. There is nothing to say. After the lights were installed, the house lit up, saying goodbye to the dazzling light of 100 watt incandescent bulbs during decoration-it felt really good.

(15) Installation of Hardware Sanitary Ware

Before buying pipe fittings, bathroom fittings, toilets, clothes hangers, etc. , are all installed.

As for buying curtains, it is best to book furniture first to avoid style conflict.
