How old is the only female living Buddha in China?

Many living monks and buddhas were her mentors. Every year, she goes to the ancient city of Gyangze and Chunpishan to give lectures and pray for her disciples.

It all ended on March 1959. That year, the Tibetan local government launched a rebellion, and Sundin Temple was at the center of the unrest. Rebels broke into temples and demanded guns and food from Sundin Temple. The living Buddha and several followers escaped from Sundin Temple and hid on the island in the middle of the lake in Yongcuo, Yang Zhuo, but they were still found by the rebels. Under the "escort" of the gun, the female living Buddha was forced to leave her hometown, and the road to practice was interrupted. The living Buddha was first brought to Bhutan, and then moved from Bhutan to India. 1959 In August, on the eve of the National Day ceremony, with the help of China's business organization in Galenburg, Dorje Pamo XII, a living Buddha, traveled to Pakistan, bypassing Afghanistan, Russia and Mongolia, and finally returned to Beijing at the end of September, ending his overseas exile for more than six months.

After the 12th Dorje Pamo Living Buddha returned to China, he accepted the government's arrangement to live in Lhasa, and changed from entering a temple to practicing at home. 1966, when the "Cultural Revolution" catastrophe came, Sundin Temple was razed to the ground, and the practice of living Buddha was forced to stop, after more than ten years. In 1980s, the Sundin Temple was rebuilt, and the female living Buddha also resumed the annual "Gangassa" Dafa meeting held in Sundin Temple. But she still chose to stay in Lhasa and practice at home. The annual "Gangjiasha" Dafa meeting is her only chance to get in touch with believers.

The female living Buddha completed the once-in-a-lifetime "alchemy" ceremony. It is a common religious activity in Tibetan Buddhist temples that the living Buddha presides over the "Flower Dew Pill alchemy" ceremony. However, Sanding Dorje Palmer, a living Buddha, only comes once in her life. 1994, the female living Buddha held a grand ceremony of "Lu Hua Dan Lian Dan" in Sundin Temple, and finally fulfilled her long-cherished wish for many years. Thousands of religious people came from afar. The "alchemy" ceremony of the female living Buddha lasted nearly half a month. People presented Hada to the living Buddha with precious pills, wishing her complete merit.
