The power of Beitashan Ranch of the Sixth Agricultural Division was finally electrified.

Since the establishment of 1952 Beitashan Ranch, there has been no power supply from the power grid because it is located in the border mountainous area, with a small population and insufficient construction conditions. In 2003, Xinjiang Corps built a photovoltaic power station in Beitashanchang and Silian through the activity of "sending electricity to the countryside", but it can only supply electricity for four hours at most every day, only meeting the basic lighting needs of ranch workers.

Since the Sixth Division signed an agreement with Changji Power Supply Company of State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Company in March, 20 13, the builders have overcome the difficulties of traffic and bad environment, realized the long-cherished wish of the workers and staff in June13, and solved the power supply problems of pasture workers' life and public facilities such as water supply and heating, and started trial power supply in September 12.
