Li Zhuang's cultural undertakings have made great progress. The town government has cultural stations, radio stations, TV stations, cinemas, party schools of town committees, schools for retired cadres and schools for population. Distance education outlets in administrative villages are well equipped, and cable TV is available to every village. The cultural network of villages and towns has been formed, which has enriched the cultural life of the people in the town. Folk art is rich and colorful. Beijing Opera, Lu Opera, Hebei Bangzi and Donglu Bangzi are all over the town, and they will perform on stage every Spring Festival. Since the 1970s, Beijing Opera performances such as Bangzi, Liukou and Nanmeng by distinguished people have been quite famous in rural areas. Due to the increasing popularity of modern cultural facilities in rural areas, these operas are performed on wedding auspicious days, such as Zhang's band in Dameng Village, Quan Xiang Literature and Art Group of Yangji, Gong's Laogong Band, Yangko, Dragon Lantern, Lion, Stilts, Dry Boat and other folk art performances.

The family planning work has achieved remarkable results. The natural growth rate of urban population has been controlled within 6‰ for ten consecutive years. In 2005, 2,200 families in this town obtained the one-child certificate. Since 1998, the county has been among the best in the assessment for five consecutive years and was rated as an advanced town at the city and county level. Five family planning workers were commended by the provincial and ministerial level.

While creating brilliant achievements, the people of Lizhuang have also experienced serious difficulties and setbacks. Under the correct leadership of previous party committees and governments, the people of the whole town have constantly summed up experiences and lessons, overcome various difficulties, made achievements through twists and turns, and improved people's living standards in an all-round way. The total industrial income in 2006 was three times that in 2000. In 2005, the per capita income reached 4,500 yuan, 8 times that of 2006 1.8 times, with an increase of 2,200 yuan per capita; Cars, motorcycles, tractors, tricycles and various types of vehicles have entered thousands of households, and cars have also entered the homes of ordinary people, and people's lives have basically reached a well-off level.
