Zijinshan Ancient Temple Fair is a famous ancient temple fair in the north of Yuci City. During the meeting, there will be activities such as social fire, singing opera, receiving gods and seeing off.

The annual temple fair of Zijinshan Temple Fair is organized by the member villages of Sishe Village (Dongsuanyu and Luoyao Village in Yuci, Hujiakun and Wangjiazhuang in Shouyang County) in turn. The Zijinshan Ancient Temple Fair continued until the founding of New China.

In the past, whenever there was a drought, villagers in the Jianhe River Basin in Yuci held a rain-praying activity. Begging for rain, also known as "water worship", has two ways: begging for rain out of nothing and begging for rain by force. Wen Qiyu, also known as "being good at worshipping water", is located in Wang Longshan (also known as Wujin Mountain). The ceremony was hosted by Gaobi Village, and the rain-praying program invited gods, prayed for rain, tasted incense, made wishes and sent gods.

In the old days, whenever there was a drought, the villagers in Zijinshan Zhou would go to Huayan Temple to pray for rain, which was also called "rain worship" or "water worship". The scale of water worship is large and small, and the largest activity of praying for rain is the "worship of evil water" in Dongsuanyu village, also known as "praying for evil rain". Because of its peculiar form, tragic momentum and huge scene, it is very representative in the form of villagers praying for rain around Zijin Mountain. Pray for rain in Purple Mountain consists of five procedures: wishing, wearing a wish, wishing, testing a wish and wishing.
