Namco → Yangbajing

Namco and Yangbajing are on the same road. You can arrange a one-day tour or a two-day tour. You can choose to take a long-distance bus or charter a car.

▲ traffic

① Take the vehicle of the local travel agency: This is the easiest way to get from Lhasa to Namco. Many travel agencies in Lhasa, including hotels where backpackers are concentrated, such as Jiri and Balangxue, have one-day or two-day tours to Namco (around 200 yuan/person), and they are only responsible for round trip, accommodation and tickets. Cars are usually Jinbei or CMB, depending on the number of people. Usually leave around 7: 00 a.m.

② Self-help: After taking the shuttle bus from Lhasa to Dangxiong, you can charter a car or walk to Namco. If you are lucky, you can take a ride. The chartered bus will come back to 500 yuan on the same day and 600 yuan on the next day. The cost is not much cheaper than renting a car directly from Lhasa. Instead of this, it is better to go directly from Lhasa.

▲ Tips

It's best to get used to it in Lhasa for a few days, otherwise don't go to Namco, which will easily cause altitude sickness. If the weather is bad, such as rain or snow, I suggest you not to go to Namco. The roads near Namco are particularly prone to traffic jams.
