The first anniversary of the death of a loved one is called "Opposite Year", and the sacrifice made is called "Opposite Year", also known as "Xiaoxiang". Because the deceased is only a leap year, if the year meets a leap month, it needs to be carried out one month in advance, that is, the year date is pushed forward by 30 days, which is calculated as 30 days per month. According to the custom, people who have funerals at home don't celebrate any festivals before the Chinese New Year, don't make rice cakes during the Chinese New Year, don't rub dumplings during the Lantern Festival, don't make zongzi during the Dragon Boat Festival, and don't cook sesame seeds and other festive items during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The so-called hundred days, according to the current custom, are from the day when the ancestors died to the100th day. When the deceased arrives for a hundred days, they should offer sacrifices again, or ask masters, Taoist priests and monks to recite scriptures.

After the year of death, the memorial tablet of the deceased can be cremated on another day, or a part of its incense burner ashes can be placed in the incense burner dedicated to the ancestral memorial tablet, and the memorial tablet of the deceased will be included in the ancestral memorial tablet to worship the "furnace" with the ancestors, and the deceased relatives will be promoted to ancestors.

3, three livestock (pork belly, fish, whole chicken). Vegetarian can be changed into vegetarian three animals.

4, red circle, three cakes (symbolizing the reunion and prosperity of children and grandchildren).

5. Miantou Mountain (also known as Tongshan or Daughter Mountain).

7. A bottle of rice wine or green tea: rice wine is used to worship Wang Guan or the deceased, and tea is suitable for worshipping Buddha and Bodhisattva.

On the morning of the furnace closing ceremony, you should burn incense first and inform the "dead" and "ancestors" in advance. The furnace closing ceremony will be held on this auspicious day of the zodiac. 10 am should "make the right year" first, 1 1 am should prepare to "build a furnace" and explain to the door keeper that please welcome the deceased and ancestors to the memorial tablet. After that, please arrange the new memorial tablet, incense burner and ancestral memorial tablet, open the "ancestral tablet" to arrange the names of ancestors in order, and then write down the taboos of "new death", the time of birth and death, important events and so on.

Preparation of offerings and sacrifices:

1, prepare a pair of "three beasts" and three glasses of wine.

2. "Hezao" is the first "family sacrifice". There are seven groups of bowls, chopsticks and cups, four longevity gold, a pot of rice, and cooked food such as chicken, fish, celery, squid, beans, leeks, onions and garlic.
