Permanent pagoda

There is a pagoda named "Chang" in Xinmin Village, Changliu Town. The pagoda is 3.42 meters high and has four corners and three floors. It is like a wooden pavilion, solid, carved and stacked by stones. The tower has three floors, and each floor has eaves, which are corrugated and cirrus roofs, and the eaves are inclined upward. On the first floor of the tower, the lion is embossed on the front and the elephant is embossed on the back. White elephants and green lions are auspicious things in Buddhism. The green lion sits for Manjusri Bodhisattva, and the white elephant sits for Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, showing great wisdom. The left and right sides are carved with offerings such as treasure baskets and fire beads. On the second floor, there are Buddhist swastikas and Fang Shengwen patterns. On the third floor, there are four Chinese characters engraved on the right, such as "Chang", "Zhu" on the left, "Bao" on the back and "Tower" on the front. The triple tower stands on the lotus base, with a circular seat at the bottom, supporting the four-corner plantain leaf-shaped corner Ashoka Tower, and the brake body is placed in the middle, which is the flame-shaped top of the single-phase wheel-holding bottle. There is no niche in the pagoda. In front of Mount Sumi stands a relief Buddha with two Aquarius columns on both sides.

When the stone pagoda was built, no one in Xinmin Village could tell that ugly story, except that it was older than their village. Many cultural relics experts have come to see the pagoda, saying that it was built not later than the Song Dynasty, and its shape can be found in the relief tower of Yungang Grottoes excavated in Datong, Shanxi during the Northern Wei Dynasty. There used to be many ancient pagodas in Changliu area, but now only this permanent pagoda is left, which is a rare ancient relic.

Denglongfang

In Bofu Village, Changliu Town, there is a stone carving "Denglongfang" in Ming and Qing Dynasties, which is located on the right side of Huang Ancestral Hall. The stone is intact, with clear handwriting on it. According to the villagers in Bofu Village, there were three houses behind the Stone Square, and there was a roof above the square. Now they have all been destroyed, and only Denglong Square has been preserved. In the middle of the stone workshop, the word "Denglong" is engraved in the shade, and the word "purport" is engraved on Denglong. The ancients adhered to the imperial seal. And the small print year of the block-printed "Wen Yin Zhi Shu": "In the fifth and fifth years of Ming Hongzhi (AD 1498), Huang Lun was a poet and was taught to stand at attention." The left paragraph is engraved with the following words: "Donation and supplement of Chinese studies" (the small print beside the word Wang indicates the younger generation). The five elements of place names and names were also given to African-American initiates. The place names are "Bofu, Tougong, Essay, Fengfengjin and Chengmai", with the word "Huang" engraved in the middle and the following names: "Qiongyu, Zongbao, Jizu, Authentic, Chengmai". The previous administrative office rebuilt the annual payment: "It is an auspicious day (AD 1762)."

Huang Lun, a native of Bofu Village, was supported by the magistrate in the middle of Ming Dynasty. Denglongfang was founded several years after A.D. 1498, and it has been 500 years since then, even 245 years after counting. The well-preserved Denglong Square, with its simple and solemn shape, is an important material evidence for people to study the stone square in Ming Dynasty today.

Ban Chao Temple

Many villages in Changliu Town have built Ban Chao Temple. Ban Chao, a native of Anling in the Eastern Han Dynasty, has never been to Hainan. Somehow, most of the long-term people respect him as "the Lord of the Territory". There are statues and paintings of Ban Chao in Ban Chao Temple. The local people call Ben Gong Chao, saying that he protects the environment and people. He is the patron saint of the people like General Ma Yuan of Fu Bo. The Ban Chao Temple in Changliu and other places is well built with extraordinary style.
