According to traditional customs, it is unlucky to move in the first month; It's not good to move in the first month, which means you can't move in the first month. The main reason is that we can't build large buildings and dig land in the first month. Few citizens will move in January. According to folk tradition, the first month is the biggest month in a year, and it is called Yueji. In Le Ji, people will make sacrifices to heaven and thank God for giving the Spring Festival and the beginning of spring. And because heaven and earth are relative, we should take care of our face while thanking God, so we can't break ground.

There is also a saying that the Spring Festival in the first month is a time to celebrate reunion, so if possible, most people will move before the Spring Festival and happily gather in new houses to prepare for a new start. Therefore, it is a traditional custom of China people not to enter the house during the Spring Festival (before the Lantern Festival). After the Spring Festival, you can return to your normal life and choose an auspicious day to enter your home.
