There are currently four agricultural high-tech zones in China.

2019165438+126 October, the Chinese government website issued two official replies from the State Council, agreeing to build Shanxi Taigu agricultural high-tech industrial demonstration zone into Shanxi Jinzhong national agricultural high-tech industrial demonstration zone, and Nanjing Baima national agricultural science and technology park into Jiangsu Nanjing national agricultural high-tech industrial demonstration zone.

Together with the agricultural high-tech industrial demonstration zones previously established in Yangling District of Shaanxi Province and the Yellow River Delta, the number of national "agricultural high-tech zones" in China has increased to four.

Introduce two new demonstration areas:

According to the State Council's approval document, Shanxi Jinzhong National Agricultural High-tech Industry Demonstration Zone is located in the southern mountainous area of Taigu County and Nanguo Village of Shuixiu Township of Taigu County, with a total area of 106.49 square kilometers. The demonstration area takes organic dry farming as the theme, and agricultural and sideline food processing as the leading industry, mainly exploring the aspects of improving agricultural quality and efficiency and expanding the characteristic and advantageous agricultural products in the northern dry farming area.

Nanjing National Agricultural High-tech Industrial Demonstration Zone in Jiangsu Province, with a total area of 145.86 square kilometers, extends to Jingqiao Town in the south and jurong city in the north. With the theme of green and intelligent agriculture and bio-agriculture as the leading industry, the demonstration area mainly explores and demonstrates the establishment of advanced technology and production model demonstration systems such as large-scale planting demonstration bases, and explores solutions for the high-quality development of modern agriculture in developed eastern regions.

The two new demonstration zones will be included in the category management of national agricultural high-tech industrial demonstration zones and enjoy relevant policies. After this formal approval, the number of national agricultural high-tech industrial demonstration zones in China has also increased to four.
