What does 2024 mean?
"Blind Year" and "Widowed Year" are the names of the chronology of cadres and branches in China traditional culture. Ganzhi Chronology is an important part of the ancient calendar in China. It represents time by the combination of heavenly stems and earthly branches, and heavenly stems and earthly branches has its own five elements, so Ganzhi Chronology is associated with the five elements.
In the theory of Yin-Yang and Five Elements, there are 10 dry days and 12 earthly branches in the lunar year. If there is no beginning of spring in a year, that is, the Spring Festival is earlier than the beginning of spring, then this year is called "widowed year", because beginning of spring is the beginning of spring and a symbol of the recovery of all things. If the Spring Festival Evening is held in the Spring Festival, then this year is considered to have no spring. Therefore, for a long time, people generally think that it is unlucky to get married in a widowed year, because such a year lacks vitality and vigor.
Because there is not one of the five elements in such a year, and "Zi" is considered to be one of the most critical five elements in a year, and "Zi" is understood by many people as "Zi", that is, this year is "not suitable for getting married and having children".
In fact, according to the calendar, 20 16, 20 19, 202 1, 2024 and 2027 are all "widowed years". Although the explanation of the year of the dry branch in traditional culture is mysterious, from the perspective of modern science, these statements have no scientific basis.
The origin and views of "Widowhood Year";
1. Origin: "Widowed year", also known as "year without spring", refers to a year without solar term "beginning of spring". At first, this concept was only because there were no "beginning of spring" ceremonies in some places on the fifth and sixth days of the 24th solar terms of the lunar calendar. In order to get lucky, people call this year "Widowed Year". Later, some people misinterpreted the word "widowed" as "widow", which made the "spring-free year" gradually evolve into "widowed year" and even said that "widowed year is not suitable for marriage".
2. Look: The happiness and misfortune of the wedding does not depend on whether this year is a "widow's year". Choosing a suitable day to get married is more for good luck and good luck. Marriage is a ceremony in which a man and a woman decide to get married together on the basis of love. Choosing auspicious days on the ecliptic will help couples live a harmonious and happy life after marriage. Of course, the most important thing is whether two people really love each other, respect each other and work together.
