Wuzhen is located at east longitude120 54' and north latitude 30 64'. Located in Tongxiang, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, it is located in the "Golden Triangle" of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, in the hinterland of Hangjiahu Plain, and connected to Wujiang District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province in the north. It is the junction of two provinces (Zhejiang, Jiangsu) and three cities (Jiaxing, Huzhou and Suzhou). Wuzhen is 13km away from Tongxiang city, 27km away from Jiaxing, 45km away from Huzhou and 60km away from Wujiang, 80km away from Hangzhou and Suzhou, and 0/40km away from Shanghai.
