Why are our Chinese characters called "Zi Yuan Zi"?

The so-called self-source writing refers to the existence of a kind of writing that is independent of other writing. Japanese characters were all adapted, especially Japanese characters, because when Japan invaded China, it took away not only the territory of China and some precious historical relics, but also the cultural history accumulated by our Chinese nation for 5,000 years, including Chinese characters.

It is not difficult to find that many Japanese characters are mostly derived from Chinese characters, so many Japanese characters are very easy for China people to recognize. Chinese characters have also stood the test of a hundred years. When Cang Xie first created Chinese characters, it was only a brief overview. Later, Wu Zetian was dissatisfied with the singleness of Chinese characters at that time and ordered people to reform Chinese characters. Therefore, many other characters were added and named.
