Basic introduction of Lianhua Temple

Guidui (Lotus Temple) is a famous religious tourist destination in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.

Guidui (Lotus Temple) is located at the top of the mountain two kilometers away from Kung Fu Mother Ballroom, but you can only enter it when you return to the corpse forest. The temple is small and full of aura. From here, you can see the beautiful scenery and glacier landscape of Kawagebo more clearly. This small temple belongs to Gong Yu Temple in Yanmen Township, Deqin County. Every September in the Tibetan calendar, Gong Yu Temple will hold a dance (Du Ge) ceremony here.

Legend has it that when Buddhism was first introduced into the snowy area, Chisong Dêzain, the French king of Tibet, and the Great Buddha quietly ordered Master Lotus Peanut, the second Buddha, to subdue all monsters in the snowy area with divine power, so that they could turn over a new leaf and protect the Buddhism. Master Lotus Peanut practiced in the 18 blessed places in Kawagebo 100, and gained enlightenment in Kawagebo. His strength increased greatly, and he could completely fulfill his vows before Buddha. When Master Lotus Peanut returned to India, he told King Zong Qudingbai that it was time to open the Kawagebo Holy Land to the world. You should send someone to the Kawagebo Holy Land to build a palace to win King Kong.

French King Zongqu Ding Bai sent the Dalai Lama to build a temple. One hundred yaks and one hundred cows have sprung up in Rao Ji, Dadesong. He visited Jizu Mountain in Yunnan and Wutai Mountain in Shanxi successively, and went to Beijing to appear before the emperor to explain the matter. The emperor said: this is a good thing and beneficial to all living beings. I would like to be your benefactor in building the temple. Lama Songrao returned to Kawagebo, and made a confession to Kawagebo in Mizulaka Pass (now Feilai Temple Scenic Area), asking for forgiveness of disrespect and praying for permission to build temples and palaces here. In order to observe the origin of the temple, we closed our doors in the cave opposite the glacier where Master Lotus Peanut once practiced. One night a year later, Lama Songrao had a very auspicious dream, dreaming that when the first ray of sunlight from the sun shone on kawakarpo, a rainbow radiated from the main peak and hit a lawn opposite the glacier. Early the next morning, the guru walked out of the mountain gate and saw what he saw was like a dream. At the end of the rainbow, there is a red bull standing there leisurely. The master asked his disciples to look on the grass.

When the disciple came to the grass, the cow had disappeared, and only a pile of fresh cow dung was still steaming. Disciple opened the cow dung, and suddenly, a golden light came out and reflected on his face. Cow dung turned into a golden statue of Sambala, the god of wealth riding a white lion. The disciples were very surprised, so they quickly and respectfully welcomed the Buddha back and presented it to Master. Master said happily, this is obviously the place where the Buddha wants us to build a temple! Red Bull has two meanings. Red means amitabha has infinite life. Cattle, to all sentient beings, are like mothers caring for their children. All the blessed beings in the last days of France only need to worship the palaces and temples of this holy land and make a wish with one heart, and then they can go to the paradise of Amitabha in the west.

The next day, Lama Songrao summoned the villagers from eleven nearby villages to the Mingyong River and told them in detail the reasons for building temples here. People were moved to tears and threw auspicious Hada at Songrao Lama. The master started work on a certain day, first building Jiaya Samba (crossing the Han Bridge), and predicted that Kawagebo's reputation would spread all over the world in the future, when countless believers in the Han Dynasty also came to worship Kawagebo. In order to cater to this reason, this bridge is called Jiaya Samba (Cross-Han Bridge).

Lama Songrao added: Although it is a good thing for us to build a temple here, it is also a sin to dig and cut down trees. In order to alleviate your sin of doing good, you can build roads and break ground according to the route I specified. After all, he went up the mountain first, scribbled on the ground with bamboo sticks along the way, and scattered the grain blessed by Kawagebo. The villagers easily repaired the road to the designated temple building site according to the designated route. Lama Songrao also gave each of the 28 skilled craftsmen a hip flask. As a result, these 28 pots of wine are full no matter how you drink them, and the wine is particularly mellow.

On the day when the temple was completed, a Tibetan mountaineer named Zhaxiluobu came. On the way to Kawagebo, he brought back a Buddha statue named Wu Jie Gongjiang Sanza, and was kindly invited to stay for one night. The next day, when Tashi Rob was ready to hit the road, the Buddha statue seemed to be unable to carry it. Tashirob was puzzled and said to the Buddha, I met you on the road and carried you all the way. You are as light as a feather. How did you get here and become as heavy as a mountain? You must talk to me today, or I will interrupt you with a cane. Tian Dai rob raised his staff to fight, and the Buddha suddenly said a word and stayed here. People present heard and witnessed this rare scene and immediately thought it was the incarnation of the true Buddha. They all knelt down and bowed. Lama Songrao immediately welcomed the Buddha statue into the new temple with the most solemn ceremony and enshrined it in the main theme.

At this point, in the new temple, there are already two Buddha statues with the strongest blessing. One is the sambara world statue under cow dung; One is the Sangza Buddha statue in Gongjiang, Wu Jie. Lama Songrao was very happy and thought that he had successfully completed the decree of King Qudingbai in India. He was about to report good news to the great king of France when Kawagebo sent his gatekeeper, Tiger. The guardian of the god tiger roared down from the sky, turned into a little civet cat and climbed into the arms of Lama Songrao. Lama Songrao tied the letter to the civet's neck, and the fox went into a cave with the letter. This small cave was later called raccoon, Raja Gezhuosa.

Shenhu used his magical power and soon arrived at the palace in India. Knowing the successful completion of Le Sheng Palace, the holy land of Kawagebo, King Zong Qubai of France immediately summoned monks from 80 monasteries in all India/KLOC-0, and held the most solemn ceremony for Kawagebo.
