Can toilet paper be thrown into the toilet?

According to the national standard GB/T 208 10-20 18 "Toilet paper (including toilet paper)", there is also a section on the test of paper dispersibility.

Generally speaking, a certain amount of paper is put into a plum blossom tube filled with 5L water, and then it is rotated and ventilated, and the paper is broken within 40 seconds before it is qualified. Therefore, the toilet paper that meets the relevant standards will be washed away directly, which will not bring too much pressure to the toilet.

But other types of paper are not necessarily suitable for toilets.

Take paper and paper towels for example. We all know that this kind of paper tends to be thicker and more flexible, which is usually because the fibers used in this kind of paper are longer and the ingredients that can maintain strength after meeting water are added. Therefore, even if you get wet and wipe your face, you can still keep it intact, and if you use roll paper, you will often wipe out a face of annoying white paper foam. There are also some kitchen paper towels that must not be scattered or damaged under wet conditions, not to mention some paper towels that do heavy work, which are simply chemical fiber non-woven fabrics. Throwing "paper" like this is really blocking the toilet, but don't throw it directly into the toilet.
