What should a person pay attention to when traveling to Tibet?

Tibet may bring different feelings to everyone, so you have to experience it yourself.

As for where to recommend, it depends on when you go and how long you plan to go.

It is best to avoid the summer vacation from July to September, because there are too many people.

If you have two weeks, don't go anywhere on the first day in Lhasa, sleep as long as you can, and focus on Lhasa after the break:

-Go to Linzhi area for 3 days to relieve altitude discomfort. Places to play are: Basongcuo, Yangni River (muddy yellow in rainy season and blue in dry season), Kadinggou, Baiwang Millennium, Ranwu Lake and Bayi Town.

-Go to Shigatse for three days, and you can play along the way: Yanghu Lake, Raman Reservoir, Karola Glacier, Kangying Castle in Gyangze, Baiju Temple and Tashilhunpo Temple;

—— After adapting to the altitude, arrange to go to Namco 2 days later;

-During the break in Lhasa, you can take time to visit: Tibet Museum (there is a Norbulingka opposite, so you can visit it when you have enough time), Jokhang Temple and nearby Bajiao Street (you can also visit it in the evening), Sera Temple (it's worth seeing after the debate in the afternoon), Potala Palace (don't go casually, there are many steps, which will easily lead to rebellion) and Potala Square (there is a viewing platform to take photos of sunrise and sunset, night scenes) There is still time to go to drepung monastery (the most grand sun bathing Buddha in August), the Central Temple and the Jokhang Temple. ...

-If you have enough time, take a 2-day tour to Shannan. There is a shuttle bus in front of Jokhang Temple Square around 6 am. This shuttle bus is specially designed for Tibetans to worship Buddha. Usually stay in Changzhu Temple (the first batch of Tibetan Buddhist temples) for a few minutes, then stay in Yongbulakang (the first palace with unique architecture in Tibetan history) for an hour or two, and finally stay in Sanye Temple (the first temple with classic architectural structure in Tibet) and stay in Sanye Temple that night. Return to Lhasa the next day.

-If time is not limited, you can go to Mount Everest first and then to Ali. There are different lines such as the South Line, the Xiaobei Line and the Dabei Line (including the whole South Line and most of the Xiaobei Line), and the time takes one or two weeks; If you choose the Dabei Line, you can see: Shenshangang Rinpoche, Shenghu Mabian Yongcuo, Ghost Lake, Guge, Zadatulin, Salt Lake, Bangong Lake, Tibetan antelope, Tibetan gazelle, wild yak, Tibetan wild donkey, black-necked crane and other wild animals.

During this period, you may meet Tibetan folk festivals (such as Sagadawa Festival, Karin Festival, Gyangze Dama Festival, Xuedun Festival, Bathing Festival, Fruit Watching Festival and Jockey Club), and you can all experience them.

It is best not to bring a knife or a fruit knife into Tibet. There are many strict security checkpoints.

If you have a bus, you can go by yourself. If there is no shuttle bus, find some partners to share the cost and charter a car in Lhasa. You can use Lhasa as a base and rest place, find an inn or a youth hostel to stay, where there is a lot of information and you can post, so you don't have to worry about finding a companion and a car.
