The origin of Changle sweet wine

When the brewing of Changle sweet wine began, there is no history to test, but it has a long history, but it is well known. Ask anyone in Changle Town and you will hear a story about the origin of Changle sweet wine. It is said that during the Jingyou period in northern Song Zhenzong, there was a young man named Chen Mingyukun in Zhaobi Lane, Changle Street. He lost his father in his childhood and grew up on his mother's textile needle and thread. As an adult, Yu Kun worked as a helper and firewood, and was the dutiful son of the whole street. One day, my mother wanted to eat glutinous rice. Yu Kun went to the rice shop and got a liter of glutinous rice, which was ready at noon that day. Who knows that while eating, my mother suddenly got stomach trouble. Yu Kun quickly went to the doctor to treat his mother, and at the same time put the glutinous rice in a bowl, wrapped it in wadding paper and placed it by the fire for her to eat at any time. Who knows that the old mother didn't eat rice for several days in a row. At noon on the third day, her mother's condition improved slightly and she said that she wanted to eat glutinous rice. Yu Kun was very happy to see his mother sick. When he opened the parcel, a strong smell of wine came to the nose. Yu Kun has a bad heart. I'm afraid the glutinous rice is broken. I can open the wooden cover and see the rice as white as jade, crystal clear and surrounded by clear water. Pick it up with bamboo chopsticks and taste it. The entrance is soft, the wine is overflowing, and the taste is as sweet as honey. Yu Kun busy filled a bowl for his mother. The old man tasted it and it was delicious. Yu Kun asked his mother why. Mother said: Son, it is your filial piety that touched the world, and it is the sweet wine given by God. Yu Kun was dubious, so he watched the liqueur carefully and found some small black seeds called Quhuacao. It turned out that when he was serving rice, he accidentally put some qu flowers and plants cut for firewood into the rice. Yu Kun thought that this Quhua must have played a role. So, the next day, he bought a liter of glutinous rice, did the same thing, and mixed some distiller's yeast flowers. Three days later, it was the same as before. Mother ate sweet wine twice, and she was all right, and her face was rosy, as if she were much younger. Yu Kun was overjoyed and was busy discussing with his mother. He decided to open a sweet hotel on Changle Street, choose an auspicious day to open, and put up the signboard of "Changle Jeffery Ji Sweet Wine". All the neighbors came to congratulate them and taste the sweet wine. Sure enough, the wine is fragrant and sweet as honey. Yukun's business is getting better and better. Later, he passed this brewing method on to his neighbors and relatives, and it has been passed down from generation to generation for thousands of years.

In the Yuan Dynasty, before Yuan Shundi boarded Dabao, he was sealed in Jingjiang, went to San Francisco and passed Changle. He once drank this wine and was very happy. He praised it: After drinking this wine for a long time, he forgot his troubles. Some people say that Changle Town got its name from this. Later, Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty went down to the south of the Yangtze River three times and stayed in Changle. After tasting the wine, he was full of praise. He wrote the title of Changle Sweet Wine, and Changle Sweet Wine became famous all over the country.
