Tourists climb slowly along the plank road from the north of Maoer Mountain on the right, and there is a nearly three-kilometer long wooden plank road leading to the summit. It takes about 25 to 30 minutes to get to the top of the mountain; It takes about 20 ~ 25 minutes from the plank road under the south slope to the crossing.

Over the years, many climbers have trodden a path on the top of Maoershan Mountain on the west side of Yanbian Hotel. This path has beautiful scenery and the three springs are sweet and delicious, which is very popular with mountain climbers. As a national forest park, after the completion of the first phase of Maoershan project, it attracted many citizens to climb mountains and sightseeing, resulting in overcrowding of hiking roads. In order to divert tourists, improve the safety factor and achieve the purpose of exercise and leisure, a new hiking trail was opened on the west side of Yanbian Hotel in 2008. Hiking route from Yanbian Hotel (formerly Lishan Holiday Hotel) to the top of Maoershan Mountain. This road is 7 kilometers long, and there is a parking lot at the entrance of the mountain. Develop five tourist attractions along the way and set up tourist signs. The average width of the pavement is 2m, and the bottom of the pavement is paved with concrete. The pavement is decorated with marble, fireproof boards, and raindrop stones, and a plank bridge has been built. With the change of mountain shape, landscapes and pavilions with Korean national characteristics will be randomly distributed on both sides of the road, providing convenience for mountain climbers and becoming another beautiful scenery of Maoer Mountain. It provides a better environment for the majority of climbers.

A public toilet with microbial circulation will be built on Maoershan. Its core technology is leading in China, and Yanji is the first city in Northeast China to introduce this kind of public toilet. Public toilets use ecological circulation to treat feces, without flushing and odor, and there are 20 toilet seats for men and women. There are also two toilet seats for the disabled, which are both environmentally friendly and hygienic. In addition, in Yanbian International Trade Folk Garden, a large parking lot will be added, and tourists with car owners will no longer worry about parking.

There is also a Korean folk garden on Maoer Mountain, which is a window for tourists to learn about Yanbian customs. There are also many entertainment projects such as circus performances in the folk garden. Every holiday, Korean compatriots dressed in costumes come and go here, and the atmosphere is warm and cheerful.

Changbai mountain botanical garden
