What should pets pay attention to when they are in estrus?

From cute crumbling goods to slim and beautiful teenagers (girls), the growth speed of pets always makes pet owners feel that time flies, as if they were worried about their feces and urine yesterday, and today they will worry about the seeds they love. This paper introduces the precautions of pet estrus.

First, what is estrus?

Estrus refers to the periodic physical activity of pets when they reach sexual maturity. Generally, cats and dogs are in estrus twice a year, mostly in spring and autumn. However, if the female cat is not pregnant during the breeding period, she will be in estrus again during the breeding period until pregnancy or the end of the breeding period. The timeliness of estrus in male cats is not obvious, which is mainly stimulated by estrus in female cats. In addition, the dog's estrus season is not as obvious as that of cats, mainly according to the time of its first estrus, which will be estrus every 8 months or so.

Second, what should pets do during estrus?

1, choose a good day, choose a couple and give birth to the next generation.

If you want your pet to breed the next generation, you should choose a good time to find a good partner for your pet to complete the work of breeding. Of course, the choice of time at this time is mainly aimed at the estrus of the bitch (cat), and the male dog (cat) can generally enter the estrus state through the estrus stimulation of the bitch (cat). It should be noted that, generally speaking, family pets are arranged through "marriage", which means that many pets have never met before the official "blind date". Although animals are not as emotional as humans, pets should give them enough adaptation period. Don't think that leaving a male and a female in one place will be all right. Doing so will help them get pregnant smoothly, which is the best, but it is more likely that both sides will be killed. Therefore, when we meet for the first time, cats should be kept in cages and get to know each other through cages, while dogs should tie the leash until they are familiar with each other, so that they can open the cage or let go of the leash and let them communicate freely. Of course, the owner should not leave the scene at this time. Once the atmosphere is found to be wrong, he should intervene in time. In addition, I would like to remind you that it is best to choose the date place at the mother cat's (dog's) home to avoid the stress brought by the sudden change of the mother cat's (dog's) environment from affecting her ovulation.

2. What do you think of the bitch's "big aunt"?

Many pet owners don't want to keep bitches, one of the reasons is that bitches will bleed when they are in estrus, which will pollute the house. But in fact, you have already prepared, which is not a problem.

(1) Prepare underwear for your "little beauty". There are ready-made dog underwear on the market now, just choose the right one. If you are really not sure about the size, DIY is not difficult, but remember to leave a hole for the dog's tail to stick out. Of course, it is not enough to have underwear, but also to buy diapers for dogs. If you forget to buy it or use it temporarily, then it is ok for people to use sanitary napkins.

(2) Both diapers and sanitary pads should be replaced frequently, and the genitals of dogs should be wiped with clean cotton cloth and warm water. Mainly because the dog's genitals are swollen at this time, it is easy to be infected by external bacteria, thus getting sick.

3. Other precautions for estrus pets

(1) When walking the dog, be sure to tie the leash. No matter how obedient your dog is at ordinary times, dogs in heat sometimes run away because of the stimulation of hormones.

(2) Close the doors and windows to prevent pets from escaping. Animals have a much stronger sense of smell than people. They can often smell the smell within a few hundred meters of Fiona Fang. If they sneak out during the pet excitement period, it is easy to go out and come back to a nest, or even more unfortunately, they may get lost directly.

(3) Because pets are in estrus, they usually have a weakened appetite and are preoccupied. Therefore, at this time, it is necessary to improve the palatability and nutrition of pets to food, and reduce the dosage appropriately to prevent waste.
