Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center is located at the foot of Baoriwula Gachaba Yinbaogede Mountain in Ejina Banner, Alxa League, Inner Mongolia. It is distributed in Jiuquan City and Fiona Fang of Alashan League, with about 95% of its sub-bases in Jiuquan City and 5% in Alashan League.

Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, also known as "Dongfeng Aerospace City", is one of the launch test bases for scientific satellites, technical test satellites and launch vehicles in China, and the earliest and largest comprehensive missile and satellite launch center in China. 20 17 Jiuquan Satellite Launch Base in Gansu Province was selected as one of the "First Ten National Sci-tech Tourism Bases" by National Tourism Administration and China Academy of Sciences.

Development of Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center

Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center is one of the four major satellite launch bases in China. Since the establishment of 1958, the center has created many impressive firsts for the development of China's space industry:
