Where is the Guandi Temple in Taiyuan, Shanxi? Brief introduction of Guandi Temple in Taiyuan, Shanxi

Since ancient times, there have been some temples or ancestral halls in many places in China, which are used to place wishes. The existence of these places, on the one hand, gives us a little sustenance when we are at a loss, on the other hand, it is also a continuation of China culture.

These temples not only reflect the architectural culture of China, but also reflect the civic culture of ordinary people in China, where people's culture and sustenance are gathered. So, today, Bian Xiao wants to introduce Guandi Temple, which is deeply loved by the people.

Brief introduction of Guandi temple

Guan Yu is famous for his "loyalty, righteousness, courage and martial arts" and has been awarded such honors by many feudal dynasties.

Song Zhezong named him the "Demon King", Yuan Dynasty named him the "Demon King, Hero King of Wu 'an", named him the "Loyal Emperor", and Qing the emperor shunzhi named him the "Loyal Emperor, Blessing, Protecting the Country and Protecting the People, Sincerely appeasing and praising Liu Bei and Guan Sheng".

Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism also respect him as a god, Confucianism and Confucius in Wen Sheng call him a warrior saint, China Buddhism respects him as a Kahlan Bodhisattva, Taoism respects him as a Guan Shengdi, and ordinary people even respect him as an elder Guan and regard him as. This is unique among folk gods in China.

In his hometown of Shanxi, his belief in Guan Yu is even worse. From the number of Guandi temples, we can know Guan Yu's position in the eyes of ordinary people. The Ming and Qing Dynasties are the heyday of Guan Yu's worship, which can be described as "endless praise and seal, endless temple worship". There were 27 temples in Taiyuan during the light years of the Qing Dynasty, and five temples are still preserved.

We lamented Guan Yu's heroism and were even more impressed by the long history here. The old ID and the old ID have explained how long the people here believe, which makes people feel deeply. I just hope that the renovation project here will be completed soon, so that we can visit here again and see Guan Yu's heroic spirit.
