Qixingyan archway is located in the center of Zhaoqing, on the square where Duanzhou Road and Tianning North Road intersect. This is the sign of the south entrance of Qixingyan Scenic Area.

Legend has it that Lotus, a peasant woman who farmed and picked lotus, gave her young life to save the people's seedlings, and her husband Shi Xing was heartbroken. Many years later, when my son grew up, Shi Xing became a monk in Shidong Ancient Temple. As the days passed, Stone Monk was over sixty years old. One day, he dreamed that the Buddha revealed that the story of lotus touched the jade emperor, and he was honored in the sky and was named "Lotus Fairy". Years of yearning for the lotus erupted like a volcano. The stone monk ran desperately to the lake and called lotus to the sky until he was hoarse. Finally, he fell to the lake, but he still looked up at the sky and called his wife's name day and night until his breath died and his life ended.

Thousands of years have passed, and the stone monk's body has become a giant reclining Buddha lying by the lake. Lotus, which is included in the immortal class, is not indifferent, but because of the rules of heaven, she can't go down to earth. When she saw Shi Xing die for her own grief, she was so sad that she knelt down and begged Taibai Venus to save Shi Xing. Taibai Venus felt the affection of the lotus couple and pleaded for the lotus in front of the Jade Emperor. Under the guarantee of Taibai Venus, the Jade Emperor finally allowed Lotus to leave Nantianmen in mid-September every year and threw the elixir from the sky into the mouth of Shixing. From then on, every year when the sun is about to set in mid-September, you can clearly see a red, bright and round then falling from the sky and slowly falling into the open mouth of the reclining Buddha on the Buddha's viewing platform or cruise ship in Fairy Lake. This is the astronomical wonder that Zhaoqing Xinghu can see only a few days a year and only half an hour a day-sleeping Buddha with Dan. At the eastern end of Aboyan, there is a big hole named Shuang Yuan. The hole is seven or eight feet high, and the spring water is clear and cold, trickling out from the inside. A huge stone stands at the entrance of the cave, just like a brocade screen in front of the door.

According to legend, before the Tang Dynasty, there was a golden palace and a silver urn deep in the cave. Every morning and when it is quiet, you can smell the jingle of Zhang Le outside the cave. One morning, several fishermen passed by here to fish, and they were very happy to hear the crisp drums and music. They stopped and stood at the mouth of the cave for a long time. Driven by curiosity, the fishermen lit the torch and waded forward. However, the water went deeper and deeper, about a mile. The water depth was not involved, so they had to go back in frustration. The more wisdom, the less courage. There was a young fisherman who was not discouraged. He is determined to get to the bottom of it. So the young fisherman pulled out a machete from his waist, cut down bamboo and made a small bamboo raft. The fisherman carried the bamboo raft into the hole, sat on it by himself, held high the torch and let it go down the river. When the bamboo raft went to the deep water, there was a loud noise, the water soared and the fog filled the hole. The young fisherman turned into a stone man and stood beside the Yaochi. There is a sparse poplar tree in front of the palace. The looming figure of Baishi under the poplar is a young fisherman. He is standing, guarding the palace and Yaochi for the Queen Mother.

Apo Rock-commonly known as Apo Rock, is the sound transition of Hepo Rock, also known as Houhe Rock. There are two stalagmites on the right side of the Shidong Ancient Temple, one high and the other low, which look like the ancients. This is Hehe Erxian. Among them, there is a shiny and smooth hole under the sleeve of a fairy hand. Strange to say, in ancient times, white rice with snowflakes flowed out of this cave every day, so it was named Mi Cave.

Legend has it that after Zhu Yuanzhang's death, the imperial power passed to his grandson Zhu Yunwen. The good times didn't last long. After being emperor for more than three years, Zhu Yunwen was strongly opposed by his uncle Zhu Li, so he abandoned his robe and fled. One day, Zhu Yunwen fled to an ancient cave and hid in a dark cave. There lived a monk who looked at the temple in the cave. Every day, a liter of rice flowed out of the cave for him to eat. Now that there is one more person, the monk has no choice but to sit at the foot of Erxian Hehe and sigh. Just when the monk was puzzled, there was a rustling sound at the rice hole. The monk suddenly turned around and said, Ha, there is a pile of snowflake rice flowing out of the rice hole. The monk almost jumped up and said, "It's saved! Saved! " Although the food was solved, Zhu Yunwen was always on tenterhooks and dreamed that someone would kill him every night. So, after a few days, Zhu Yunwen left in a hurry. As soon as Zhu Yunwen left, the rice was released from the rice cave according to the original quantity, which greatly annoyed the monks who watched the temple. One morning, the monk picked up a hammer and slammed it into the rice hole. When the hole was knocked big, the monk thought that more and more rice would flow out of the hole. As a result, the monk sat cross-legged. From morning till night, the rice hole is no more than one meter long, even the original one liter of rice is gone.

There is a folk song that goes like this: rice comes out of the hole, white rice comes out of the hole, one person lives in the temple with one liter of rice, and two people live in the temple with three buckets of rice. A monk was so greedy that he wanted to fill the urn with white rice. Early in the morning, the hammer danced and made a hole ... Ding-dong, Ding-dong, Ding-dong, and the rice hole became a stone hole. At the end of the Ming dynasty, the Qing soldiers broke the customs and seized the land, and fought in the south and the north. The generals of the Ming dynasty died in battle and fled, seeing the mountains and rivers of the Ming dynasty in jeopardy. In A.D. 1643 (the 16th year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty), Hengzhou fell, and Zhu Youlang, the king of Yongming, fled to Guangxi with his father Zhu and temporarily lived in Wuzhou. In A.D. 1645 (the second year of Qing Shunzhi), Zhu Yousong died in Nanjing, Zhu died in Cangwu, and Zhu died in Fuzhou in the fifth day of the Tang Dynasty the following year. At this time, Zhu Youlang was elected by the governor of Guangdong and Guangxi, the governor of Guangxi and the inspector, and he supervised the country in Zhaoqing on 10/4. But soon, the chamberlain asked him to go to Wuzhou again. Zhu Youlang has been in great pain after a series of blows from his father's death and his brother's death. Now an internal dispute really worries him.

First, Zhu Youlang fled Zhaoqing City under the escort of his relatives and came to Shidong Temple in Qixingyan. Although the cave temple has beautiful scenery and strange scenes, Zhu Youlang is sad and uneasy. He went into the cave temple, knelt down in front of the Buddha and kowtowed again and again. It was dark, and Zhu Youlang was so tired that he fell asleep next to the stone Buddha. But Zhu Youlang was preoccupied and his stomach was empty, so he couldn't sleep. He sat up, leaned against the stone Buddha, looked up at the moonlight shed from the skylight of the cave and sighed, "Alas! I'm sleepy, I'm sleepy ... "Zhu Youlang got up and walked out of the door, so he put his hands on the ground. -This one made Zhu Youlang jump up, which was a surprise: Ah! It turned out that his men had propped up a pile of snowflake rice.

Zhu Youlang saw it and thought. Suddenly, five mice came from behind the stone Buddha. They tortured one and then flew east. Seeing this, Zhu Youlang quickly knelt down and bowed down: "God helps me. There is no amitabha in the south! God bless me. There is no amitabha in the south! ..... "Sure enough, Yongming Wang Zhu Youlang was quickly welcomed back to Zhaoqing City. Zhu Youlang was proclaimed emperor by the Governor-General of Guangdong and Guangxi, and the Governor-General of Guangxi, so he established a palace on 1646 1 1 month, and ascended the throne, taking the year number as a perpetual calendar. Legend has it that Zhu Youlang was welcomed back to the city, and five mice also flew away in Lapras. At the southern foot of Shishi Rock in Qixingyan, there is a stone tablet that is quite eye-catching: it stands deeply on a steep rock and is surrounded by barbed wire on three sides. Whenever the red sun shines high, there are always auspicious clouds around it. This is the world-famous North Sea Monument.

There is a folk story about Beihai Monument: Shen Li, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, offended the powerful because of his sharp edge. In the fourth year of Changqing (AD 824), he was demoted as the secretariat of Duanzhou. Shen Li is a realistic poet who dares to attack state affairs, and is also a famous calligrapher. After he came to Duanzhou, he stayed indoors and sat alone in his study for a long time. One day, Shen Li was ecstatic to learn that there was an inscription by Li Yong, the "immortal hand in the book" on Qixingyan. He rode out of the stable and strutted straight to Qixingyan. Riding on the Duanzhou ancient road, the horseshoe was crisp and crisp, which really won, and soon we arrived at Qixingyan. The North Sea Monument is just around the corner. It is covered with colorful auspicious clouds and emits red light ... This spectacle amazed Li Shen! Surprise the horse! Li Shen saw the wonders of the North Sea Monument at a glance. He wanted to dismount and have a close look, so he suddenly loosened the rope. Unexpectedly, the rope was too tight. The horse was taken aback, gave a long hiss and jumped into the air. A front hoof just stepped in the middle of the North Sea Monument, leaving a deep horseshoe print. This is why the North Sea Monument is also called the horseshoe monument. When the cock crowed, Liu Ding and Liu Jia grabbed the whip and whipped it on the seven stone mountains. Then they returned to the Heavenly Palace. However, when they entered the palace in high spirits and were about to tell the Jade Emperor, all of a sudden, the loud noise of "Bang-"and "Bang-"kept ringing for nine days, which made them dumbfounded and stupefied. ...

The sound of "bang-"disappeared, and Liu Ding and Liu Jia hurried to the worse place to see what had happened. When they looked down at Yuan Ye, they saw seven stone mountains floating gently on the water like the Big Dipper ... Ding Liu couldn't help exclaiming, "Brother! When Beidou fell into the world, seven stones were better than fairyland. Wonderful! Wonderful! " Liu Jia was secretly happy and said, "Dude! We should report to the Jade Emperor immediately. " But they never imagined that the jade emperor was standing beside him at the moment, overlooking the boundless Yuan night. After a while, the fog gradually dispersed, and seven towering rocks, like a string of sparkling pearls, set each other off with the blue-green lake. The sky is red and the ground is red! At this time, the jade emperor looked at all this and was filled with joy. He stroked his beard with his hand and said, "The scenery is also blessed! Congratulations! "

After the Jade Emperor returned to the Heavenly Palace, he issued a decree: On a bright night in April, a grand banquet will be held on the top of the Seven Star Rock to celebrate the gods.

In a blink of an eye, an auspicious day has arrived. It's night and the moon is full and exquisite. Hercules came to the worse gate with joy, some carrying delicious food, some carrying nectar, some carrying flat peaches and fairies. The fairy boy, the blue crane, bounced, knocked on the stone drum for a while, knocked on the stone bell for a while, and blew the stone horn for a while ... ※ At this time, the jade emperors Lv Chunyang, Tie Guai Li and Han Zhong came to them, and there was Daxianru beside them. The jade emperor was in high spirits, blowing the dust gently, and the worse gate opened. As a result, some immortals were walking in clouds, some were riding cranes, some were sitting on dragons, and one after another, they rode high to Qixingyan.

"Stone singing, Joan stage sheng." Seven Star Rock is singing and dancing up and down, which is really "it is difficult to beat drums, and Haizhu Yue Xian wins Peng Ying". The immortals drank and drank, bowl after bowl, altar after altar, all drunk.

In the middle of the night, the Jade Emperor handed down the imperial seal: "Hide the stone drum, stone bell, stone horn and flower orchid in the cave of the stone chamber", and then ascended to heaven with the cry of the immortal. However, after returning to the Heavenly Palace, the Jade Emperor found that Lv Chunyang, Tie Guai Li and Han Zhong did not come back together. He was so angry that he flew into a rage: "Liu Ding, Liu Jia, Lv Chunyang, Tie Guai Li and Han Zhong didn't return to the five tables, that is, they got off the boulder to get in the way and were not allowed to return to heaven!" It turned out that Lv Chunyang, Han Zhong stumbled to the top of Yuping Rock after drinking and got drunk in Shilin. It's really "sleeping on a stone" ...

The moon gradually faded away, and the fifth watch came. Lv Chunyang and Han Zhong left the immortal, woke up and shouted "No". They left a "Li Xian" and right a "Li Xian", but Tie Guai Li was still drunk. Lv Chunyang and Han Zhongli had to endure the pain, but when they just stepped into the worse place, there was a sudden thunder and lightning. In front of them, I saw a huge stone whistling towards Yan Yuping. With a bang, the boulder flew down, half pressing on the sidewalk and half escaping into the air. This is a little dangerous!

From then on, Tie Guai Li never returned to heaven, but he made a fortune on the earth, and he also made a fortune by lying on a boulder. Later, good-hearted people wrote on this huge stone lying like a man: drunken stone.

At the top of Yupingyan, near Shuangzhu Gorge, there is a well, which is called Ding Dong Well because it makes a "ding dong" sound when it falls. Legend has it that a child named Ada was often abused by his stepmother. After his father died, he suffered more. One day, Yada came back from collecting firewood on the top of Yuping Rock and told her stepmother's son Yazai that there was a strange well on the top of Yuping Rock that would ring "Ding Dong-Ding Dong-". The stepmother was secretly happy when she heard this. Early the next morning, the stepmother asked Ada to go up the mountain. Just arrived at the well, the stepmother suddenly pushed Ada down. Stepmother shed crocodile tears and was very sad. But a few days later, Ada suddenly went home. He is very satisfied with gold, silver and jewels. Stepmother hugged Ada and cried again. Ada told her that after he fell into the well that day, he was supported by a soft brocade and finally arrived at the Dragon Palace, where he was rewarded by the Dragon King and brought back three gold bricks, three silver bricks, three strings of pearls and three precious stones. The more stepmother listens, the more she likes it, and the more she regrets it. I regret not pushing my son into the well. A few days later, she secretly took Ya Zi up the mountain and pushed Ya Zi down as soon as she got to the well. But after the stepmother's daughter fell into the well, there was only a "ding" and no "dong" echo. In the evening, Ada didn't see her brother, so she asked her stepmother, but she just wouldn't say anything. She waited and dreamed one dream after another, but after waiting for a whole year, her daughter still didn't come back. She was shocked, cried and finally went crazy. In the hiking trail behind Sanxian Temple, there are two caves, one large and one small, one deep and one shallow, one vertical and one inclined, just like human footprints, so they are called immortal footprints.

There is an interesting story about immortal footprints. Legend has it that there is a glittering tripod in the Jade Emperor Hall on the top of Yuping Rock. One night, it was already deep and quiet. Lv Dongbin and Han Zhong couldn't sleep, so they went out of Sanxian Temple and went to the Jade Emperor Hall of the Palace on Mount Tai. The tripod in the jade emperor's temple shines with dazzling golden light every night, but tonight, the flash is gone. They were surprised and hurried to the main hall, only to find Baoding missing. And Han Zhong were deeply moved, so they immediately rang the bell and called He Xiangu, Lan Caihe, Han Xiangzi, Cao Guojiu, Zhang and others to attend the meeting. On hearing the bell, Tie Guai Li didn't even wear his shoes. He rushed out of the Sanxian Temple in three steps and headed for the Jade Emperor Hall. However, when he entered the path behind Sanxian Temple, the black-faced thief who stole Baoding suddenly jumped out from behind the rock, causing Tie Guai Li to stumble and almost fall to the ground. Fortunately, Tie Guai Li held the wall with his left hand and stood hard with his feet, but the tower still stood still. All this, the yellow turban insurrectionary lux sitting on a stone can see clearly. He quickly grabbed a big stone and threw it down, driving away the black-faced thief who stole Baoding.

Since then, Tie Guai Li has been blessed and left two deep footprints on the road where he stood.
