Sasuke's Japanese name

The Japanese name of Sasuke in Naruto is Sasuke Uchiha.

Sasuke's name comes from the legendary ninja Sarutobi Sasuke (in the story, he is the father of the third generation Huo Ying). His surname (ぅちは) is similar to the pronunciation of "paper fan" in Japanese, which is also the coat of arms of the Neibo clan.
