Therefore, people who are always in awe are especially humble, which is the basic quality of a tasteful and thoughtful person.

" Power and money, two common things envied by the world, are nothing in Mi Fei's eyes. The truth of the two stories is simple: people should fear the heart of heaven and earth more.

Awe comes from people's faith. Only when people have awe or fear in their hearts can they have respect and awe, have firm faith and know what they can and cannot do. Our prophet Zhuangzi put forward the viewpoints of "the unity of heaven and man" and "the unity of heaven and man". In the past, many people in China considered themselves materialists. However, with the development of society and times, people's demand for materialism is increasing, so they overemphasize materialism, and fewer and fewer people have "ism", because without awe, matter can decide everything. Many of us in China have long been fearless. Nowadays, many people don't even know how to fear themselves.

Without awe, some people dare to run amok. In recent years, more and more "big officials" have been investigated and punished by the government for taking bribes of "millions" and "tens of millions". Previous corruption has been pushed forward by the waves behind the Yangtze River, but people's performance is very calm, because many people think that what has been detected is only the tip of the iceberg. Think about it, it is also true that those people spend money to find relationships and entrust people to get an official position. Once the power is in hand, they will do whatever they want, as if the earth is his, and the territory is too small, and the appearance of a villain is revealed. It is normal to show that your reckless decision-making power is greater than the law or to earn your investment back for your own self-interest. At that time, I always thought that it was the later literati who vented their personal anger and deliberately exaggerated the facts in order to ridicule the corruption of the Qing officialdom. I thought to myself: all those officials went to the temple reading sage books. How can this happen without personality? Now the times have developed and people's thoughts have improved, but the probability and grade of strange things are much higher than that of that era. Many strange things, we ancient people even dared not do because of awe. People nowadays dare not do what the ancients dared not do, because there is nothing to be afraid of. Some time ago, there were 800 words in the propaganda draft of Kaifeng Fire Brigade and Luohe Fire Brigade 1000. Did vice mayor Kaifeng's speech have such strange things as "building a harmonious and peaceful Luohe" and "Kaifeng guiding the work of Luohe"? What's so strange? Because people in today's era are fearless, there is nothing they dare to do.

Without awe, some people dare to ignore shame, inferiority, filth and filth. "There are two things. The deeper and longer I think about them, the more amazing and awe they arouse in my mind. This is the starry sky above my head and the moral law in my heart. " This is the awe of the famous German philosopher Kant, and it is also a famous saying engraved on his tombstone. And some of us, because there is nothing to be afraid of, scholars can engage in academic plagiarism; The classic works of ancestors can be changed at will; An official's diploma can be bought and his age can be false; An official who had just been dismissed for dereliction of duty soon took another official position; Every day, public funds are spent, eating and drinking, and going abroad for sightseeing, not to mention that five public officials in Xishui County, Guizhou Province are actually with underage girls; Some people sit on the stage and pretend to talk. Their expressions are many times higher than those of Hollywood movie stars, but what they think and do is quite different. This era is an era in which "hidden rules" and "black-box operation" are particularly prevalent. It has become a fashion to benefit others at the expense of others. People are used to it. As long as they can gain benefits for themselves, any rules, policies and laws can give full play to "people's subjective initiative" to adapt, thus producing endless strange people and things. Therefore, it has been suggested that "the biggest threat to China may be". Imagine: if those "big officials" had a little awe, they wouldn't have done so many things that people were not ashamed of.

One cannot live without awe. People have to be awed to be awed. Without awe, anything harmful can be done, and there will be shameless people in this world. The real history is not in the official records. In the works of literati, traces of social economy and humanity can only be found in some literary works. Therefore, we are willing to be unknown literati, rather than live like muppets and walking dead, because we have awe in our hearts, fear of natural disasters, fear of frequent man-made disasters, and fear of being ashamed to see our ancestors and being scolded by future generations. After listening to this argument, I can't help but marvel! I feel very happy and then clap my hands and laugh happily, because there must be so many friends with awe in my life who get along with me day and night. If there is no awe in his heart, how can he see the world so thoroughly? If he has no awe, how can he understand such a sonorous speech! The ancients said that people must have three fears: fear of the sky, fear of the earth and fear of themselves. Fear of heaven is to conform to heaven and nature; The awe of the land is to be grateful and cherish everything in our living space and environment; Fear is to fear yourself and cherish life, because life is the essence of nature. People should treat life with respect and piety, and don't humiliate and destroy it, otherwise, Heaven will bring disasters to mankind, the earth will be angry with mankind, and man-made disasters will occur more frequently. I can imagine: what will it be like?

Awe is respect and fear with a sense of sacredness. It is not only a life attitude, but also a life belief. Only with awe of life can the world show infinite vitality in front of us. Confucius said, "A gentleman has three fears: fear of destiny, fear of adults and fear of sacred words." Awe, ancients, saints, saints.
