On the first day of the winter moon, Wolong Temple worships Buddha.

On the weekend, 202 1 the first day of the winter moon, I made an appointment with a friend to go to Wolong Temple.

This is my first time to go. I don't know the direction or the doorway, so I don't sleep late, get up at 7: 30 in the morning, meet my friends at the station and go together.

The weather in winter, although the sun? It looks good, but it's still cold. Pedestrians on the road are wrapped in scarves, complete hats and masks, and large cotton-padded jackets are suitable for winter solar terms.

Wenchang Men Site site got off and walked along the bottom of the city wall. Walking into the cypress forest roadway, the moat is clear in the morning, and there are many people doing morning exercises. Where there are people, there are fireworks. The three of us walked forward in the sun, discussing the old houses to be demolished on both sides of the street, and set our sights on the driveway. In those windows, it should be the most authentic "indigenous" residents of this historic city. I really want to have the opportunity to get close to them, get to know them and listen to their fleeting time. I believe there must be a story I want to know.

When you come to Wolong Temple, the two sides of the road are no different from other temples. There are vendors selling incense and men and women begging for money. Because on the first day, the hall in front of the temple was filled with fireworks, and there were many good men and women.

Take incense, light candles, bow all around, enter the temple, bow down, meditate devoutly, and donate merit boxes. Because for the first time, I am afraid of breaking the rules and should follow my friends. After a lap, more than an hour passed. Everyone who worships Buddha is pious and respectful, including myself.

Sincerity is the spirit, and more often, it is a stable force for the heart. It is an expectation and longing for the future life.

Careful observation of the bodhisattvas in the temple reveals peace and harmony on their faces, which is the comfort that impetuous hearts in today's world need. Therefore, the incense of Wolong Temple is flourishing. I was thinking like this when suddenly there was a chanting. People stood silently in front of the hall of the great hero, with their hands crossed on their chests, looking at their noses, but reciting them slightly. I didn't speak, either. It was nearly ten o'clock in the morning, and the sun was caressing his back warmly. He looked up and saw that the cypress tree was silent, and only a few golden leaves were shining on the ginkgo tree. And the voice of chanting, so slowly lingering in the ear. There are basically no ups and downs, only occasional rhythms. Listen, it feels like mom humming a lullaby in her ear, which makes people immersed in it. Only care about the sound, there is no other idea in my mind, and even my body is relaxed. The first time I realized this feeling, I looked back at the sun, which was dazzling among the treetops. He brushed my face, and I saw the side face of the person next to me, bathed in this light and shadow, soft and quiet.

No wonder, whether people believe in Buddhism or worship religion, what people pursue is their own spiritual comfort and psychological satisfaction.
