Lin Zhiliang is a member of China Calligraphers Association, a visiting professor at Art College of Yanshan University, an academician of China Buddhist Painting and Calligraphy Institute, and honorary president of Xiamen Fujian-Taiwan Painting and Calligraphy Institute. He devoted himself to calligraphy and music, took the promotion of Buddhism as his own responsibility, practiced himself, was modest and won the praise of his peers. Mr. Lin Zhiliang, who writes with pen and ink, is a philanthropist and has held many charity sales of calligraphy works. All the proceeds from the charity sale were donated to poor households, poor students and victims in Tongan, Qinghai, Taiwan Province and Ningxia, and they did many good deeds and won people's hearts.
