Ask for help from eighteen layers of hell?

Excerpted from "dzogchen's Positive Guidance, Pu Xian Guru Language Teaching" * * * With foreign counterparts 05, reincarnation-

There are four kinds of hell: eight hot hell, eight cold hell, near hell and lonely hell.

Eight Hot Hell: Resurrection Hell, Black Rope Hell, All-in-One Hell, Nickname Hell, Great Hell, Hot Hell, Extremely Hot Hell and Endless Hell.

From resurrection hell to endless hell, layer by layer, like a house. In the middle and around these hells, there are iron burning fields. My feet are hot when I touch them, and I have no happiness at all. There is only heat in the burning boundary.

Resurrection hell: On the hot iron floor and in the red embers, countless creatures in hell gather together like a snowstorm because of the inspiration of karma and the bitter feelings of their peers. Living beings fighting each other is like seeing their main enemies, killing each other with the weapons of karmic transformation in their hands. After they all died, the voice of "May you be resurrected" came from the air, and all beings were immediately resurrected. Life span: Fifty years on earth is a day for the four kings, thirty days is a month, and twelve months is a year. The heaven where the four heavenly kings are located is 500 years, which is a day of resurrection of hell. In this way, the resurrection of hell lasts 30 days a month, one year 12 months, and all beings in this hell need to feel the pain for 500 years.

Black rope hell: The jailers in Yamaraja took the infernal creatures whose bodies were like firewood to the hot iron floor and divided their bodies into four, eight, sixteen and thirty-two parts. With a black line, then saw it with a fiery red iron saw, and immediately bonded it back to life, so I repeatedly felt the pain of cutting. Life span: A hundred years on earth is a day of 33 days, and a thousand years of 33 days is a day of black rope hell. All beings in this hell need to feel the pain for thousands of years.

Hellscream: Infinite creatures in hell are locked in an iron mortar like a big basin. The jailer hit them with a hammer as big as Mount Sumi. All life cries and dies in unimaginable pain and fear. When the hammer was lifted, they came back to life and felt pain as before. In addition, all the opposite mountains in the valley have become the heads of deer, antelopes, goats and other animals they killed before, and their horns are burning and fighting with each other (the two mountains merge). Infinite beings in hell are brought to this mountain by karma. When two mountains collided, all beings died. The mountain left and came back to life, and gathered in the mountain as before, feeling great pain. Life span: 200 years on the earth is a night skyscraper for 44 days, and 2000 is a day in hell. All beings in this hell need to feel the pain in 2000.

Howl hell: All beings in this hell suffer in a hot iron room without doors. When they think they can't escape from here, they scream violently and loudly. Life span: 400 years on earth is a day of 45 days, and 4000 years on earth is a day of hell. All beings in this hell need to feel the pain for 4000 years.

Tuba is called hell: the jailer in Yamaraja, armed with many horrible weapons, drives the infinite creatures in hell into a hot iron room with double iron doors, and then beats them with a hammer. These sentient beings think that the inner and outer doors are made of molten iron, and even if they can escape from the inner door, they can't escape from the outer door, so they cry sadly. Life span: 800 years on earth is a happy day, and 8000 years is a happy day, called hell. In this way, all beings in this hell will feel the pain of 8 thousand years.

Burning Hell: Iron as big as 3,000 worlds is full of boiling molten iron, and infinite beings in hell are suffering in it. Whenever they surfaced, the jailers in Yamaraja hooked them with iron hooks and beat them on the head with hammers. Because there is no pain when you are unconscious, you think it is a kind of happiness (you feel happy when you wake up) and feel intense pain. Life span: 1,600 years on earth is the day when he turned into heaven, and 16,000 years into heaven is the day when hell burns. All beings in this prison need to feel the pain of 16000 years.

Extremely hot hell: In the burning iron house, the jailer in Yamaraja used a burning three-pointed iron spear to pierce the paws and anus of all beings in hell, stabbing their shoulders and heads, and wrapping them with burning iron sheets, which was extremely painful. Life span: it is half a bullet long, so it can't be measured by the number of years in the world.

Endless Hell: In an iron room surrounded by sixteen nearby hells, the jailers in Yamaraja put the infinite beings in hell in the center of an iron block burning like charcoal, blew the fire with a leather fire tube 48 made of leopard skin and tiger skin, and burned their bodies with fire, feeling intense pain. They can only hear their loud howls, but they can't see their bodies. They always wanted to get rid of it, but they didn't have time to get rid of it. Sometimes when the fire door is slightly open, they want to escape. The jailer beat them with an iron crossbow, a stick, a hammer, etc. Pour boiling molten iron into their mouths. They need to feel all the pain of the first seven kinds of hell. Life is as long as a bullet, and there is no more severe pain than this, so it is called endless hell. All sentient beings who created infernal karma, or those who entered the Miqi to create Jaken for King Kong and Ali, will be reincarnated in this hell, so other karma will not be reincarnated here.

The nearby hell is divided into five parts: simmering hell, corpse and mud hell, sharp primitive hell, sword and leaf forest hell and Tiezhu Mountain hell.

There are four hells around the endless hell: simmering hell, corpse mud hell, sword hell and sword forest. Four in the east, four in the south, four in the west, four in the north, * * sixteen. There is an iron column mountain in the southeast and an iron column mountain in the southwest, northwest and northeast.

Simmer in hell: I am freed from endless hell by alleviating the karma of the innocent. I was glad to see the dark shade in the distance, and finally I was thrown into a charcoal pit (simmering pit), bloody and unbearable.

Dead manure hell: I got rid of the hell ahead and saw a river in the distance. Because I was suffering in the fire before the last robbery, and I was very thirsty. After seeing the water, I went to drink it happily. Where is the water? As a result, I fell into the sludge of rotting corpses, such as human corpses, horses' corpses, dogs' corpses, etc., and gave off a strong smell. At last, my head didn't sink in, and I was pecked by many insects with sharp iron beaks, feeling infinite pain.

Jian Yuan Hell: After being freed from the previous hell, I saw a pleasant qingqing grasslands. I went there happily, but I met a Jian Yuan made of weapons. The whole earth was covered with iron thorns as sharp as grass. If you step on your right foot and puncture it with your left foot, your foot will recover when you step on it, and then it will puncture as before, which is unbearable.

Sword leaf forest hell: all beings who have just been freed from hell are excited to wash away when they see the pleasant forest. Where is the pleasant forest? I met the sword leaf forest. Many swords like leaves have grown on Cycas. They fluttered with the wind, cutting the bodies of these sentient beings into pieces, and then cutting them after resurrection, so I felt the pain of cutting.

Tiezhu Mountain Hell: Monks who violate Brahma's practice and precepts or all those who commit adultery will be reincarnated in this hell. Due to the traction of karma, I came to the terrible Tiezhu Mountain, heard my former favorite friend calling me from the top of the mountain, and climbed the mountain. At this time, it was pierced by the downward leaves growing on the Cycas. When climbing to the top of the mountain, crows and vultures came to peck at their eye oil. At this time, I heard their voices coming from the foot of the mountain and ran down the mountain as before. All the leaves point upward again, from their chests to their backs. At the foot of the mountain, I was hugged by the horrible iron man and iron woman, swallowed their heads, and white brains poured out from both sides of my mouth, which was extremely painful.

In this way, after carefully observing the pain of Eight Hot Hell, Sixteen Near Hell and Tiezhu Mountain Hell, I silently closed my eyes and thought: I have really been born in those hell full of fear and pain. Meditate again: ah! I'm not really born in those hell now, but my inner thoughts are so horrible and painful. Now countless beings have really fallen into hell. These sentient beings were their parents in their previous lives. It is impossible to be sure that many people, such as parents, relatives and friends in this world, will not fall into hell after death. The main reason for their metempsychosis to those hells is hatred. Then we have created countless bad karma of hatred and trouble in our last life and this life, and future generations will definitely be reincarnated in those hell. So we have to think again and again: since we have a full-time life, it is worthwhile to meet a Buddhist guru, and we have heard a lot. When we have the opportunity to practice dharma and gain Buddha's fruit, we should practice diligently, decide not to have those bad karma in the future, repent all the bad karma in the past with fierce remorse, and swear fiercely that even if our lives are in danger in the future, we would rather die than make bad karma in hell. Initiate a strong compassion for all beings born in hell now, and make a wish: May these beings get rid of evil karma at once. Practice with perfect exercises.

Eight cold hell

In short, there are snow-capped mountains and glaciers in the center and around this hell, and there are snow and snow everywhere.

All beings in this hell feel the pain of cold and freezing naked, and there are many blisters on their bodies, so they are called blister hell; Because those blister sores rupture to form sores, it is called blister hell; Because the cold is unbearable and the teeth are clenched, it is called biting hell; It is called Achou Chu Hell, because it keeps crying sadly; Atchoo-choo's voice was also interrupted, and he could only give a sigh, which was called Wuthering Hell. Because the skin outside is frozen blue and the body is split into four pieces, it is called a crack like Uttar Hell. The flesh under the skin is frozen red and split into eight petals, which is called the hell that splits like a red lotus; Even frozen into black and red, split into sixteen petals, thirty-two petals or countless petals, which is called a crack like Da Lian Hell. Many insects with iron beaks crawl into frozen wounds and bite, feeling the pain of cold and freezing. Because these eight kinds of pain are different, there are eight names, called Eight Cold Hell.

Life span of Bahan Hell: A large pot of 200 Tibetan liters (this Tibetan liter is the capacity unit used in Gosala) is filled with sesame seeds, and a sesame seed is taken out of it every 100 years in the foaming hell. In this way, all the sesame seeds were taken away, and the life span of all beings in the bubble hell was exhausted. The rest of hell is twenty times more than the top. The life span is getting longer and longer, and the pain is getting stronger and stronger, that is, the life span of bubble hell is 20 times that of bubble hell, the life span of tight tooth hell is 20 times that of bubble hell, and so on. In the continuation, observe the pain of those hell as before, and think: If you stay naked outside for a while in winter, you can't stand the cold pain, let alone being born in those hell, how can you stand it? Therefore, we should repent of our self-sustaining sins, guard against evil, and have great compassion for all beings born in hell. As before, practice by doing more, doing more and doing better.

Lonely hell

The place is uncertain, and the pain is uncertain. Some are stuck on cliffs, some are trapped in rocks, some are frozen in ice, some are scalded by boiling water, and some are burned. Some sentient beings hide in trees, and need to feel the pain of limbs and branches being cut off when logging, and some reincarnate into Chu Jiu, broom, crock, door, column, stove stone and daily rope, and also feel their pain with consciousness. For example, the fish seen by Zhuo Gunlong Jiriba 49 in Yazhuye Lake, the frog seen by Dong Tang Jiabo 50 in a stone, and so on.

Yazhuo Ye Lake is one of the four famous lakes, 5 1, which was changed by a gold coin thrown by a foolish blogger in Yixi. There are many days' journey from the source of the lake to Kong Lung (place name) and the end of the lake to the thief Maggie (place name). Zhuo Genglang left the lake on an auspicious day and said with tears in his face, "Oh, don't enjoy the wealth of letters!" " Do not enjoy trust! The apprentice asked him, "Master, what is it?" ""In this lake, there is a fish reincarnated by a guru who enjoys wealth, and it is experiencing many pains in lonely hell. "Disciple asked him to show them. The guru turned the lake into a miracle and dried up in an instant. At this time, a big fish appeared, its body was very big, covering the whole lake. There is no gap in its body, and it is covered with countless foods, and it keeps rolling in pain. Disciple asked, "Who is the reincarnation of the victim of this evil deed? He replied: "This is the reincarnation of the late Tibetan dark horse Lama. The dark horse Lama in Houzang has great charm and blessing, and it will take effect for those who are hurt by ghosts and demons at a glance, so it has become a place of support for people in area 53 of the four wings around Houzang. After crossing over, the deceased just read' pa' and collected many cattle, horses and other livestock. He was reincarnated as this fish after his death. "Tang Dongjiabo, a very accomplished person, practiced Maggie yoga on a big stone. The stone was split in two, and inside it was a big frog with countless small mouths, only to see that its mouth was black and the pain was unbearable. Disciple asked, "Master, what is this? The guru replied, "This is the reincarnation of a guru who lives on flesh and blood. "

Now many lamas are also like this. After the donor slaughtered the fat sheep, he put the flesh and blood in its throat or spleen and put it on the essence of the spine to support these lamas. They pulled up their shawls, threw them behind their heads, ate the internal organs like children sucking breast milk, and then took out their knives and slowly ate the meat outside. A full meal, greasy mouth, steaming head. Different from before, he became a beaming, swaggering image. People who enjoy this life will repay it with their own bodies in the future. How painful it is to fall into a lonely hell! Also, when Dharma Dharma dharma was in Dege, one day he said to his disciples, "Don't let anything go in oder river today." Many disciples went to the river and waited until the afternoon when they saw a tree washed away by the water. Disciples fished out the wood and told the master that there was nothing but this tree. The virtuous mage asked his disciples to chop down trees. Among the split trees, there is a big frog, many of which were born during the eclipse. The guru recited the ceremony to it and said, "This is the reincarnation of Ogi, the supervisor of Dege Trust and Wealth Management." Therefore, although officials who bully their subordinates are now extremely authoritative, they should also pay attention to these hells.

In the past, when the Buddha was alive, there was a butcher in the city who kept his promise not to kill at night (kill during the day). Later, he was reincarnated in a lonely hell and lived in a wonderful palace at night. Four beautiful women, full of food and drink, are happy and very happy. During the day, the palace became a burning iron house, and four beautiful women became horrible dogs and ate him. There is also an adulterer who abides by abstinence during the day (adultery at night) and later reincarnates in a lonely hell, feeling the bitterness and joy of day and night contrary to the previous example. The venerable Shinji witnessed all this.

Another temple with an elegant environment is home to 500 monks. Every day at noon, when monks gather to fast, the hall becomes a burning iron house, and bowls and utensils become weapons. Monks fought with each other and recovered after fasting time. This is the strange fruit of many monks quarreling at lunch when they were Buddhists in the past.

Sixteen such eight hot hell and eight cold hell * * *, plus eighteen near hell and solitary hell * * *, is called eighteen hell. We should learn more about the number, life span, suffering and the causes of reincarnation of these hell, and feel sorry for all beings born in hell. And all other conveniences that all beings will not be born in hell in the future should be carried out. Otherwise, although it seems that Buddhism has not been practiced, it has become the cause of Buddhism's arrogance, and it will be blamed by saints and humiliated by wise men.

Once upon a time, in front of guru Yang Rinpoche, a monk with a smooth appearance and an extremely arrogant heart came to visit. The guru asked him, "What do you know about Buddhism, monk?" He replied, "I know something about Buddhism." The guru asked again, "So what is eighteen layers of hell?" He replied, "eighteen hot hell, eighteen cold hell * * * sixteen, plus two * * * eighteen black and red hats of Gamba." He included them in the number of hell not because he didn't respect Gamaba, but because he forgot the names of lonely hell and near hell. At that time, the black hat and red hat of Gamaba were well known, so they were randomly added to the number of hell. If you seek dharma practice like this, if you don't know words (let alone understand their meaning and practice), you will be really ashamed.
