The book is based on the behavior clues of Houshan in Taiji Town on August 28th. At that time, I predicted that there should be an isolated hill by the river of Jiyingzi in Xitai, and the hill should be the location of the tower. Sure enough, as I expected, there is a lonely mountain in the middle of the Xiguanyingzi River in Zi Ying Village of Xitaiji.

The Yingzi River in Xiguan brings together all the mountains and rivers flowing from the northern part of Longtan Township to the southern foot of Daheishan (called Lengji Mountain in ancient times). Due to the large terrain gradient in the west, wide river course and more sand and gravel, the river flow is not large at ordinary times, and it is gradually cut off in the downstream of Xiguan Zi Ying Village. Due to the existence of Taibao Mountain and Xiguan Mountain in the south of Kuntou Boluo Village, the terrain in the east gradually rises and the waterways gradually narrow, especially Lalatun, Miaojiawanzi, Dengjiawanzi and Shijiazi, while Xitaiji Mountain, Xiwa and Hajigou are low-lying. If the water flow is not smooth, it will form siltation. The whole taiji town should be a place where mountain torrents are diverted, so Tashan will be isolated in the middle of the water. As I said before, the tower is mainly used to kill the river demon, which also shows that this place was once flooded.

On September 25th, I came back from work a little early, so I turned into Hazhaigou Village from the foot of Bagai Mountain, and then walked south to the foot of the mountain. There is a depression between Nanshan and Tashan in Hazhaigou, which is covered with vegetable greenhouses. If I want to go up the mountain, I can go through a small forest at the foot of the south mountain in Hazhaigou and walk up the mountain along the path. I walked straight along the cement road to the east, then went southwest to the fork in the road and ran to the river. There are several depressions along the way, and the cement road is soaked by water, which shows that there are abundant water resources here. Farmers who run greenhouses have long settled their homes on the edge of greenhouses. A small village has been formed at the southern foot of Tashan Mountain. In the past, no one dared to settle down here. From the last Dongfangshan path up the mountain, there are jujube trees halfway up the mountain. After the jujube forest, there is no road, so we can only walk through the thorns (in fact, we went the wrong way, and there is a stone road up the mountain by the south river). We came in. Go on, the mountain is not high anyway.

Where there is a quarry pit, you will find a circle of stone marks along the mountainside, which is different from the dam wall. It's just used to fix the ground neatly, so that the ground above it is flat. Keep going up, and there is another circle of this structure. Then up, there are bricks everywhere, all over the top of the mountain. This kind of brick is an obvious trench brick in Liao Dynasty. It is light, has no fragile edges and corners, and can be polished and carved. Modern brick is brittle, solid and heavy, which is made by mixing slag and yellow mud, peeling and molding, and then firing. If you water it without oxygen, it is blue brick, mainly ferrous iron. If you ventilate it at high temperature (a lot of oxygen enters), it is red brick, mainly ferric iron. I haven't studied the bricks of Liao Dynasty. I guess it's a mixture of plant ash, clay and lime. Plant ash is light, clay is sticky, and lime is light. You can tell me if you know this. Have you found this big trap circle, and then the top is the building (tower, altar, Aobao, etc. ) the structure is deja vu? The Tiantan in Beijing and the Niuheliang Goddess Temple in Hongshan Culture are all like this.

It is said that where there is a tower, there is a treasure, which is basically at the bottom of the tower. Only treasure can kill the devil. If there is treasure, the tower will not fall. Of course, the most famous is Chaoyang North Tower, whose underground palace and Feng Taihou (the granddaughter of Emperor Feng Ba of Beiyan) have spent a lot of effort. We don't know whether there is treasure in this tower mountain, but maybe only poachers can know. Anyway, there is a big pit deep in the tower foundation.

At present, the south of the tower is a mountain climbing road, but because the mountain facing the river in the west is occupied by a gravel yard, the mountain has been cut by half, and the road has been seriously damaged, and almost no one climbs the mountain. The northern part of the tower is a spacious and flat ground, which should be a place for sacrifice or worship, and perhaps there were temples before. In this way, the way to climb the mountain should be in the north. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can clearly see Daheishan, Guishan, Nanshan in Harbin Trench and Nanshan in Taidi. Tashan, like a wall, stands at the bell mouth on the west side of Taiji Town.
