Transplanting method of longevity bamboo

When changing pots for Changshou bamboo, it is best to stop watering for a day or two and wait until the soil is slightly dry before changing pots. Don't hurt the roots of Changshou bamboo when changing pots.

1. Soft and permeable soil is the best soil for bamboo bonsai. Usually when I plant it, I either use a single ruby soil (1-3mm) or a little homemade soil. The approximate proportion of self-made soil formula is: 10% rice husk ash +70% peat soil +20% ruby soil (1-3mm).

Second, don't choose an oversized basin, just choose a slightly larger basin than the original one.

Third, put the plants together with the original soil into a new pot, add soil, spread moss or paving stones, and quickly pour water. If conditions permit, bonsai can be semi-soaked in water for a day or two, and the leaves of plants need to be sprayed with water every day to moisturize. The newly moved bonsai should be placed in a cool and ventilated place, watered every day and sprayed with water to avoid sun exposure and too hot, and then maintained normally after one or two weeks.

Fourth, the bamboo bonsai should be carefully divided into pots, which is easy to damage the roots and directly lead to plant death. Even for plants with developed roots like Ji Cuizhu, it is not very recommended to divide pots. If you have to divide the pot, you can choose a "auspicious day". It is recommended to choose a rainy day or a day with high air humidity, with fast hands and no exposed roots for a long time. After planting, please repeat the steps of "Article 3".
