What does Luqiao class mean?

Luban Bridge is the only ancient stone arch bridge on Huatian River. On the south bank of the bridge is Guankou Village of Dazhiping Town (now merged into Shangjia Village), and on the north bank is Beijiuping Village of Qingtaiping Town. People on both sides of the bridge take hands as chess and rivers as boundaries. This bridge has a history of more than 600 years, and now it is well preserved, and pedestrians on the bridge can come and go.

According to folklore, under the Luban Bridge, Luban once got a sword. More than 30 years ago, the author passed by here, specially took a flashlight and carefully observed it around the bridge. Where there is no sword, only a black iron bar was pried in the middle of the bridge, about 30 cm long, and it was rusty after more than 600 years of wind and frost erosion.

According to legend, this bridge was built in Yongle period of Ming Dynasty, and it is the most dangerous fortress in the ancient salt road between Sichuan and Han in Ming Dynasty. Tan, the ancestor of Tan's family in Baping, donated money to build the Chuanhan Salt Tea Merchants Road, and Tan hired Yichang famous craftsmen to be responsible for ink painting construction. When the foundation stone was laid, Master Zhang Mo solemnly set three sacrifices to the God of the Land and the ancestors of Luban. The craftsmen slept in the wind and stayed in the rain for many years, and finally completed the project according to the pre-selected auspicious day and auspicious time.
