Is it morning or afternoon?

Whether in the morning or in the afternoon, praying for blessings is a kind of progress and an agreement between man and Buddha. It is an ancient custom whether your wish will come true and whether your prayer will come true. Burning incense to God is a wish. Is the following sharing in the morning or afternoon?

Is it morning or afternoon? 1 is the best morning. If you really have no time in the morning, you can put it in the afternoon. Don't be too late. Remember to wash your face and make a clean wish when you go to the temple. If you have eaten, you'd better brush your teeth. But if you go in the morning, you'd better make a wish on an empty stomach and come back for dinner after making a wish, which is more respectful.

What's the point of wishing time? Pick a good day.

Generally speaking, if people who believe in Buddhism have any wishes, they will go to the Buddha and pray for him to display his magical powers and satisfy their wishes, such as seeking wealth, children, disasters and peace. When praying, in order to show sincerity and urgency, believers usually make a promise at the same time: if the Buddha can satisfy his wishes, he will repay the Buddha in some way.

Such as: offering a certain amount of incense money, remodeling the golden body, rebuilding the temple, doing so-and-so good deeds, and so on. This is a wish. Afterwards, if the Buddha really satisfies the wishes of the believers, the believers will fulfill their promises to the Buddha to repay the kindness of the Buddha. This is an oath.

How to make a wish and realize it? There are indeed many questions to understand. I have observed that many people who wish to enter the temple are inferior to the law and even vilify the Buddha. For example, some people lose money by gambling, hoping that the Buddha can help him win it back, while others break the law.

I hope that the Buddha can help him clear his name and avoid legal sanctions; Some hope to quickly change their destiny and make a fortune, pointing to becoming a Japanese billionaire; Some hope to become officials and officials as soon as possible, and may the Buddha help them to rise to the third level, and so on. There are many funny things about wishing. Some people provide Buddhists with chicken, duck and fish, and even hope to kill animals.

So, how should we make a wish and realize it? At the end of school, try to talk about your own views.

First, make a wish and do the right thing.

In other words, the things and goals of asking for help from Buddha and Bodhisattva must be justified. You can't ask the Buddha to help you satisfy your wild desires, let alone ask the Buddha to help you do bad things. Such a wishing Buddha and Bodhisattva will not agree. Buddha and Bodhisattva agreed to this wish, didn't they become corrupt officials? It is ok to seek good health and find a suitable job when you are well, but remember not to be selfish and greedy and not to ask too much.

Both are willing to be good.

You can't make a wish by creating bad karma. Buddha and bodhisattva help you satisfy your wishes, but you kill things. Isn't that Buddha and Bodhisattva encouraging you to kill? Therefore, this kind of wish is absolutely not desirable. The way to make a wish is best to correspond to the wish according to the cause and effect. For example, if you want to be healthy, you'd better make a wish by releasing it. If you want to get rich and work, you'd better make a wish by giving money.

How to repay God and fulfill his promise at 2 o'clock in the morning or afternoon?

First, I want to make a wish. After making a wish before God, ordinary believers need to express their gratitude to God in front of the gods when their wish is realized afterwards. The thanks mentioned here are nothing more than worshipping a god, offering some fruits and adding some sesame oil money. As for how much they pay, it depends on their hearts. This is a religious culture.

Second, where the wish is made, it is necessary to go back and realize it. This is a rule that must be strictly observed. After you make a wish, you must realize it. If the wish comes true after the deadline, it is recommended to choose a date to come true. Because I promised when I made a wish, this is a question of integrity.

Three, there is no commitment to fulfill the time, in principle, within one year after the wish is realized. If you don't fulfill your wish within the time limit, you don't need to make a wish.

According to Buddhist tradition, there are no good days or bad days. Relatively speaking, there is only one thing to remember about the date of the oath, that is, we must fulfill the oath within the time limit and try not to delay it deliberately.

How to realize your wish after making a wish;

Method one

(1) If you want to go to the temple, you can prepare 3-5 kinds of seasonal fruits, biscuits and other offerings, but they must be singular (because the singular is positive); In addition, you can also prepare incense, gold paper and other fruits suitable for worship: apples, peaches, plums, dates, grapefruit, grapefruit, oranges and so on. Fruits that cannot be worshipped: tomatoes, guava, Sakyamuni, durian, etc.

② When making a vow to worship Buddha and kowtow, hold incense in your left hand and keep your hands clean. When burning incense, the incense should be ignited at one time, and the more prosperous the better; When burning incense, hold the incense at the bottom with your right hand and bow your head over your head. After bowing, you can put your incense in the incense burner. In addition, don't cross the futon when burning incense to worship Buddha, otherwise it will be regarded as disrespect.

Method 2

(1) Lighting in front of the Buddha: You can light a pair, or you can light 369, or a multiple of nine, symbolizing blessing and bright eyes.

2 respect incense: respect Buddha and bodhisattva, and devoutly support the three treasures; Send a message to the void dharma circle to learn about the ten treasures of blessing, with the aim of connecting with Buddha and Bodhisattva.

Three major worships: to worship the three treasures of Buddhism and Buddhism. After acquiescence, bid farewell to Buddha and Bodhisattva.

The principle of paying the gods to burn incense

1, light incense with your own fire;

2. Hold the incense stick with the middle finger and forefinger in both hands, and point the thumb at the incense tail;

3. Put it on your chest and face the bodhisattva icon;

4. Improve Mei Qi again;

5. After that, put it down as the third action;

6. Start inserting with your left hand;

The first candle in the center.

The second incense stick is on the right.

The third candle on the left.

After the incense, you should stand upright and cross your hands to worship the Buddha.

If it is a circle of incense, you should point to the Buddha where it is lit, and your hands are like holding a long incense.

If you put sandalwood (that is, the twig split by sandalwood), you should hold both ends of the incense with your thumb and forefinger, with your middle finger, ring finger and pinkie open and straight, hold Qi Mei high, and put it in the incense burner before and after; The first sandalwood is picked up with the left hand and sent in with the right hand; Pick up the second branch with your right hand and send it in with your left hand; The third one is the same as the first one. The method of meditation should be the same as when burning incense.

Is it morning or afternoon? What will God prepare?

(A) clean body and mind

Entering the temple with unclean body and mind will offend the gods. Ways to clean your body and mind:

First of all, you should eat vegetarian food to calm your mind. At least on the day before worship, you should fast all day and breakfast that day. Vegetarianism means not eating meat or drinking alcohol. Meat dishes refer to five kinds of meat dishes, namely onion, garlic, leek, coriander (coriander) and Allium macrostemon (buckwheat head). Meat refers to the flesh and blood of all animals. Eating meat and drinking alcohol will make the five internal organs dirty, confused and mentally turbid, which is not conducive to communication with the gods. You should avoid eating dog meat, beef, turtle (turtle) meat and snake meat before worshipping God. If you eat the above four kinds of meat, don't come to the Taoist temple for seven days, or the evil will come soon and follow you.

There are other sayings in Zhai that vegetarianism can be rewarded on certain days. Such as "Sanyuan Zhai", Sanyuan Emperor is a vegetarian at Christmas. Zhai, the core memorial of life, was a vegetarian on his birthday and thanked his parents for giving birth to him. Santa Claus day and so on.

Secondly, take a bath to clean your body, and take a bath before worshipping God to wash away the dirt on your body. Both men and women are not allowed to have sex the night before worship. Believers are not allowed to worship God or burn incense in the temple during menstruation. They can only worship outside the temple.

Finally, you have to change clothes to have dignity, and you have to change clean clothes before you worship God. Clothing should be dignified, clean and simple, and should not be naked, dirty or coquettish. Shoes should be made of cloth, flat shoes. Try not to wear high heels. Men and women are not allowed to wear slippers, shorts, short skirts and vests into the temple. It is best to wear long sleeves, trousers and cloth shoes to worship God. Believers who often come to Taoist temples can prepare a set of clothes specially used for worshipping God.

(2) Prepare products

Sacrifice to god requires offerings, and Taoist temples often use five products, namely incense, flowers, lamps, water and fruits. Believers who come to the Taoist temple to worship God can increase or decrease according to different situations. If there are few, you can only prepare incense, lamps, fruits, or even burn incense (incense is an invisible sincerity, and you don't need to prepare any tangible offerings).

Incense is a medium to convey sincerity to the gods. The Taoist scriptures say that "the Tao is taught by the heart, and the empty fragrance is transmitted by the heart", and "the fragrance reaches the letter", which means that believers can convey their wishes to the gods by burning incense.

Flowers are flowers. Bloom's flowers change with the seasons, endowing nature with fragrance and supporting gods, which accords with the significance of Taoism and nature. The flowers dedicated to God are exquisite. The top flowers are orchids, chrysanthemums, lotus flowers, plum blossoms and rich bamboo, followed by daffodils and carnations. Smelly, prickly and delicate flowers should not be offered to gods. In addition, Taoism prohibits the use of Chinese rose flowers to sacrifice to the gods, as described in Dafan Douyi.

A lamp is an oil lamp or a candle. Lights can shine, representing light, and have the effect of breaking the darkness. Offering lamps or candles to the gods can not only make the gods bless the bright future of the living, but also bless the dead to get rid of the darkness of hell and ascend to the bright heaven. Believers usually use a pair of red baked candles to worship the lamp, or they can use lamp oil instead. It is best to light a bright lamp. For fire prevention reasons, many temples prohibit burning candles. And the ever-burning lamp of modernization.

Water refers to clear water or tea. Water has the effects of nourishing everything, removing dirt and quenching thirst. Sacrifice water to the gods, and the gods bless strangers to eliminate troubles, cool their bodies and minds, and not invade all diseases; Protect the dead from the fire of hell, drink manna often and never be hungry. Sacrifice clean water, use pure water or boiled water (what you have drunk is not available). When offering tea, boil it with clear water and brew it with new tea. There is water or tea in the Taoist temple every day.

Fruit refers to fresh fruit in season, preferably ripe fruit in season. The first kind of fruits are apples (homophonic peace) and oranges (homophonic auspiciousness, including oranges, pomelos, citrus, kumquat and so on. ), pineapple (also known as Wang Li, representing prosperity), pitaya (representing prosperity), longan (homophonic with wealth) and other fruits, including watermelon. Taoism has been passed down from generation to generation, and pomegranate, papaya, plum, sugar cane and pear are not allowed to worship God. The poem "Big Fan Dou Yi" said: "All kinds of fruits are dry and fresh, and pomegranate is taboo for Xuantian. Plums should not be given too much, and black dates are forbidden. "

There are three grades and five grades of fruit offerings. Three grades are three-color fruits, five grades are five-color fruits, and only one large one such as watermelon can be used. The fruit offered to the gods should be washed with clear water, otherwise, it is a great sin to offend the gods.
