When will you welcome the kitchen god?

The fourth day of the fourth lunar month is the time when immortals return from heaven to earth. There is a saying that "send God early and receive God later". In terms of offerings, three animals, fruits and dining tables should be prepared, and incense sticks should be lit to burn gold clothes. This refers to the five-way god, and later evolved into the five-way god of wealth. In the old society, after the Spring Festival holiday, merchants usually invited Wutong God of Wealth on the fourth night and opened the market on the fifth day for good luck. Kitchen God wants to check the household registration, so every household should stay at home, prepare abundant fruits, burn incense, light candles and set off firecrackers to welcome them.
