lie

About 5,000 years ago, an unprecedented battle took place in Jizhou Plain in the lower reaches of the Yellow River in China. One side of the battle is Huangdi, the tribal leader of the Central Plains, and the other side is Chiyou, who is of unknown origin but has magical skills.

Who is Chiyou?

Who is Chiyou? Legends have always been different: some people say he is an "ancient emperor", some people say he is a "vassal" and some people say he is a "Shu Ren". Which nation does Chiyou belong to? Legends have always been different: some people say that he is the monarch of Jiuli nationality, some people say that he is the leader of Dongyi nationality, and some people say that he is the chief of Miao and barbarians. In a word, he is a mysterious figure of unknown origin.

Their eighty-one brothers also look very strange: copper head, iron forehead, human body, cow's hoof, four eyes, eight toes, horns on their heads, ears like halberds, and wings on their bodies. They will fly away, swallow sand and eat stones, and use human language. They are a monster similar to human beings but completely different.

The weapons they use are also very special. The left part says: "Chiyou is five soldiers: Ge, spear, Chao, Emirates spear and Yi spear." Using metal as a weapon was an epoch-making invention in ancient times. Taibai Jin Yang also said: "Fuxi takes wood as a soldier, Shennong takes stone as a soldier, and Chiyou takes gold as a soldier." Isn't it like holding an electronic baton at a triangular knife or holding a laser gun at a box gun to deal with clumsy sticks and stones?

As a result, they began to expand with their own "advanced weapons." "pipe? Several articles in the land said that he used metal water from Gele Mountain. Made swords, aluminum, spears and dynasties, and merged the nine kings that year; He also used metal water flowing from Hu Yongshan to make long-handled and short-handled swords. When it merged with the Twelve Princes, it was bound to conflict with the Yellow Emperor who developed in the Central Plains.

Colorful war

At the beginning of the war, it was very lively. The Yellow Emperor and Yan Emperor joined hands to command an army with tigers, leopards, bears and birds as pioneers to attack. Eighty-one brothers, including Chiyou, took up advanced weapons and went into battle. The Yellow Emperor cut off rivers and prepared to drown these guys who were not afraid of being hit by water. However, Fengbo and Rain God were invited by Chiyou, and there was a strong wind and heavy rain, which stopped the Yellow Emperor from marching. The Yellow Emperor couldn't subdue Chiyou, so he couldn't help sighing.

So the emperor sent Xuan Nv and Xiu to help, and Xiu shouted, "Hello!" When the sun came out and the rain stopped, Xuan Nv played a drum made of the skin of a one-legged cow. When he knocked, the sound shook 500 Li, and Chiyou was fascinated. However, Chiyou became foggy. In a blink of an eye, the sky was dark, sand and stones were flying, and the Yellow Emperor's army lost its way, unable to distinguish between the enemy and me, and attacked itself, but Chiyou took the opportunity to escape.

So the Yellow Emperor told the general to build a compass according to the principle that the Big Dipper indicates the direction. In the second war, Chiyou became foggy and returned home in triumph. The troops of the Yellow Emperor went straight to the base camp under the instructions of the south guide car, and caught Chiyou by surprise.

The death of Chiyou is also strange. According to ancient records, the Yellow Emperor sent Ying Long to kill Quanyou in "Mengli Valley" and was beheaded. The place where Chiyou was captured is in the middle of Hebei, also known as the "land of death". After his death, people built two tombs for him, one in Shouzhang, Shandong Province, which was seven feet high; The reunion of another shoulder tomb in Juye, Shandong Province, is the same size as this tomb. People often sacrifice him in October. Red air often comes out of his grave, just like faded silk. People call it "Chiyou Banner". Later, Jizhou people dug up a steel skeleton, and everyone said it was Chiyou's bone.

There are also some records that Chiyou was not killed. After the Yellow Emperor surrendered to Chiyou, he was appointed as the military commander and controlled all directions. After the death of Chiyou, the world was in chaos again. The Yellow Emperor taught people to draw statues of Chiyou and put them up everywhere. Everyone says that Chiyou is not dead, and the world has settled down again. -It can be seen that the dead Chiyou is even worse than the living Yellow Emperor!

After stripping off the cloak of myth

This exaggerated story is a necessary foil for the Yellow Emperor to unify the Central Plains vigorously, and it is a mixture of myth and history. Historians believe that the basic facts should be:

(1) Chiyou is a powerful and united tribal group, which pursues a peculiar animal totem worship. When fighting, it often wears a strange mask to scare the other side, showing courage and tenacity.

(2) The natural fire in primitive times may also melt some bare ore seedlings into metal, and it is natural to process these godsend things harder than wood and stone into weapons. The Chiyou tribe became powerful because of mastering such advanced weapons, and gradually formed a powerful department of ancient China Oriental.

Fall down.

(3) The war was fought in a rainy season in the warm and humid area of the lower Yellow River. The Huangdi and Yan Di tribes from the arid areas in the middle and upper reaches of the Yellow River are not familiar with the terrain and can't adapt to the climate. With "advanced weapons" and familiarity with the local laws of rain and fog, Chiyou repeatedly made strange moves and the Yellow Emperor repeatedly lost.

(4) However, after all, the Yellow Emperor was resourceful and powerful. After he became familiar with the operational laws of Chiyou and the eastern region, the rainy season gradually passed and the dry season came, and the number of Chiyou gradually lost its initial advantage. Therefore, the time when the Yellow Emperor defeated Chiyou was autumn crisp, and the people sacrificed Chiyou in October, which indirectly proved Chiyou's failure and demise.

(5) After Chiyou was killed, his tribe split: some of them stayed in the eastern region, roughly at the junction of Shandong, Henan and Hebei provinces. In the Han Dynasty, there were some place names such as Lixian, Liyang, Lishan and Aquarius, which were the remains of Chiyou's adherents; Some of them were assimilated by the prisoners of the Yellow Emperor tribe and became obedient subjects of the Central Plains ruling group. In ancient times, people called CoCo Lee or Li Yuan, Li Shou, Li Shu and Li Meng, and they were all products of this war. As for those die-hard anti-Japanese, some fled to the northwest, and later established a state in Huguan County, Shanxi Province, which was not annexed by Zhou until the end of Shang Dynasty. The other part fled southwest. That is. Legend: After the death of Chiyou, the abandoned fetters and handcuffs grew into maple trees. Miao people sacrificed their ancestors with "You Jie", "You Gonggong" and "Maple God", which is of course a memorial to their ancestors Chiyou.

Academic circles have been arguing endlessly about whether Chiyou is the ancestor of Dongyi nationality or Miao barbarian nationality. In fact, this may be a "fork in the road" misunderstanding. It is not only the ancestor of Dongyi people, but also the ancestor of Miao people and the earliest ancestor of Li people. There are temples of Chiyou all over the country, and descendants of Chiyou are all over the country. This assumption has its reasonable side, but unfortunately the lines are too thick to develop the reasonable kernel contained in the myth properly.

Enough is enough, so it lacks truth, but the times are too far away and information is too scarce; We can't ask more of historians.

Intelligent robot hypothesis

Due to the progress of society and the broadening of people's scientific horizons, a bold assumption is exciting: is Chiyou an intelligent robot from surprise? Is the battle of Zhuolu an interstellar war that broke out on the earth with whisperd's participation?

(1) According to the shape and function of Chiyou, its skeleton and shell are all metal, not flesh and blood, and it has horns on its head. Is it antenna or probe? Four bright eyes, are they all kinds of optical measuring tubes? Are "Eight Brackets" Manipulators with Different Performances? Of course, the hooves and eight toes are running devices that can advance and retreat freely. When they take off or land, the tail nozzle will drag out a red flame, like a red chain. This is what people call "Chiyou Banner". It often collects ore samples or puts them into ore for on-site analysis and smelting. People can't understand it, so they think it's eating sand and swallowing stones. Obviously, this is an intelligent robot made by intelligent creatures. It is not surprising that intelligent robots call the wind and rain and make fog.

(2) Judging from the weapons used by Chiyou and Huangdi, these weapons are beyond the times. Historical records? "The Closed Sutra" said: "The Yellow Emperor took bronze wares from the first mountain and cast a tripod at the foot of Jingshan Mountain." Shiben also said: "Dragons are soldiers." But there is not enough evidence in archaeological data and physical objects. At the same time as Chiyou, there were several steel slag and malachite in Longshan Cultural Site in Shandong Province, but there were no bronze weapons. Although there were bronze weapons in Erlitou Cultural Site in Henan Province ten years later, they were all relics from the 2nd1century BC to the 6th century BC, that is, in the Xia Dynasty hundreds or even thousands of years later, there were really few natural metals. Therefore, it is impossible to use it on a large scale in actual combat at this stage.

The same is true of the use of the compass. Compass is one of the "three great inventions that indicate the arrival of bourgeois society", and its appearance cannot be separated from people's discovery of magnetic force and magnetic finger polarity! The earliest suggestion of magnetism in China was Lu's Spring and Autumn Annals at the end of the Warring States Period, which said: "Magnetism (stone) calls iron, or draws it." The earliest recorded permeance in China was at the end of the Warring States Period.

"Everything was wrong," he said. "Therefore, the late king ruled Sina to seize the day." "Sina" is the guiding device.

People used to call it "the first king". Yu Xia and Shang Tang were the earliest. He would never be an emperor in ancient times, but the "south guide car" that let Woodenhead point out the direction in the car was the product of the Three Kingdoms period. There is only one conclusion. This metal weapon, this compass, did not belong to the earth people at that time.

(3) Judging from the progress of the war, what can the Yellow Emperor do with these robots of unknown origin? So I invited some authentic whispers such as "Nine-Day Xuan Nv" and "Ying Long", and a star war to protect and destroy the earth's ecology started on the earth. The bird head of the legendary "nine-day literate woman", Ying Long is a winged dragon, maybe a spaceship. They finally send out some kind of sound wave (drum or dragon) or radio wave, destroying the control system or communication system of Chiyou, and then they bow to their knees.

(4) Judging from the death of Chiyou, the postscript of Road History uses the word "Xie" for the death of Chiyou, which is very suitable for mechanical devices. It is recorded in the Book of Records that the human-god bones excavated in Jizhou later are described as "like copper and iron", which is very accurate. Of course, it is not copper and iron, but a high-grade alloy similar to copper and iron but as light as bone. "Yi Shuoji" also said: "There is a tooth of Chiyou today, which is two inches long and unbreakable." The statement of "being today" shows that it is still unbreakable in the author's era (Nanliang), which is the characteristic of this advanced alloy. The flaming "Chiyou Banner" that often appears on Chiyou's tomb must be its extraterrestrial partner or owner cleaning up the wreckage, studying the cause of the fault and looking for "black box" and other relics.

Defeated god of war

The people of China have great respect for the winner, and so does Yao. Shun, Yu and the founding monarchs of past dynasties were all portrayed as heroes with both wisdom and courage. People in China also despise losers. Therefore, Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties, Zhou You and the kings who perished in the past dynasties were all portrayed as villains with decadent lives and perverse behaviors. Only Chiyou is an exception, it is a failed hero standing in ancient times. The victorious Huangdi kept his prestige quietly, but raised his flag as a tiger skin, held high the image of the loser Chiyou to deter the world, and actually got "the surrender of all nations." It can be seen that in the eyes of people at that time, Chiyou was not human flesh and blood, but represented a powerful, mysterious, supernatural and immortal force. Emperors of past dynasties also regarded Chiyou as the "master of military strategists" and "god of war" and worshipped him. The troops of the Western Zhou Dynasty went out, and the Yellow Emperor Chiyou was the object of parallel worship. Qin Shihuang and Han Wudi traveled eastward to offer sacrifices to "Ba Shen the Great", and Chiyou ranked third. Liu Bang, the emperor gaozu of Han Dynasty, rose up and offered sacrifices to Huangdi and Chiyou in his hometown. After the victory, he had a special liking and moved the Chiyou Temple to Chang 'an, but left the Yellow Emperor in the cold.

It was not until 979 AD that Song Taizong conquered Hedong that there was a record of sacrificing Chiyou the day before he left Beijing. As for the folk, there was also a kind of corner play in Jizhou area during the Qin and Han Dynasties. People wear horns in twos and threes, which contradict each other. People call it "Chiyou Opera". As for Chiyou Temple and Chiyou Temple, they are found in many parts of the motherland and are still revered by the Miao people.

Why do people respect this failed hero? There is only one reason, that is, he has never died, has no flesh and blood, and is an eternal and invincible mysterious force. His opponent, the Yellow Emperor, and his descendants did not pour mud and muddy water on him like every failed monarch. In ancient times, those failed monarchs, such as Zhou You and Zhou You, were surrounded by a seductive enchantress, but he didn't.

Yes, there may be no emotional device in his body at all. The failed monarch has the habit of sadism and killing people, but he doesn't, because it is not his mission to brutally ravage the earth's creatures; The only character defect left by ancient books is "greed", and "greed" and greed for all material specimens on the earth may be his only mission to go to the earth. Which hypothesis is closer to the truth? There is no consistent conclusion yet.

The river of no return, a romantic figure, with the passage of time, the Yellow Emperor and Chiyou have gone away from us, and their magical legends always attract our interesting guesses.

The confirmation of these conjectures ultimately depends on the development of society and the progress of science and technology. Man will truly understand himself and his ancestors.
