Qingyun Dragon Collection in Qingyun Temple

Qianlong tripitaka, also known as "Long Zang". It is the only official tripitaka in the Qing Dynasty. It was edited by emperors Yongzheng and Qianlong, and by Zhuang Yunlu and Prince Hongzhou. It was compiled in the 11th year of Yongzheng (1733) and completed in February 15 in the 3rd year of Qianlong (1738). Volume 1669 was received. Its collection of scriptures and exquisite font carving are unparalleled in all previous dynasties.

This tripitaka of Qingyun Temple was invited back from Beijing in the 20th year of Guangxu (1894). At that time, Jiao Shan Dinghui Temple in Zhenjiang, Jiangtian Temple in Jinshan, Longchang Temple in Baohua Mountain in Jurong, Qingyun Temple in Taixing and other ten famous temples in Jiangsu joined hands and presented them to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Please collect ten dragons, one for each temple. With the approval of the emperor, the top ten famous temples provided their own paper and hired employees to print it.

Please ask the imperial edict again after printing, and ask the monks in Beijing to hold a dharma meeting on an auspicious day, box it and set it off. The emperor also sent people to escort Jin Fu to the Tibetan scriptures, and invited Tibetan monks Ziyi Yuyin and Zhangxi Ruyi. Along the way, all the major monasteries that ask for Tibetan scriptures have plaques of "returning to the mountain according to orders" and "giving dragons to hide", and officials along the way pick up and drop off, land and water vehicles, and it is very convenient to go up and down.

Please bring back a roll of rice paper. Then it is folded into a book, and each book is made of plywood made of ginkgo trees unique to Taixing, with a box of nine books. The boxes are made of ebony, accounting for more than 750 boxes and divided into more than a dozen cabinets. The boxes and splints are engraved with the names of classics, laws and theories. When reading a book, look at the table of contents first, extract a box, and leave the remaining boxes untouched.

Due to the difficulties of the Cultural Revolution, "Long Zang" was destroyed among the people. After the implementation of the religious policy, Qingyun Temple was restored and rebuilt, and the "Dragon Tibetan" after the disaster was welcomed back, and now it only exists in the Tibetan Scripture Building.
