Plum blossom is a tree of Dipterocarpaceae, about 20 meters high. Branchlets are stellate tomentose. Leaf blade leathery, oblong to oblong-lanceolate, apex acuminate or mucronate, base rounded or wedge-shaped, both sides protruding, reticulate veins obvious, petiole densely covered with grayish yellow short fluff.
