Working principle of air temperature sensor:

1. The air temperature sensor has a negative temperature coefficient. Temperature increases, resistance decreases, temperature decreases, and resistance increases, which causes the voltage in the circuit to change with the resistance.

When the car is cold, the signal of the air temperature sensor is basically the same as that of the engine water temperature sensor, while when the car is hot, its signal voltage is about 2~3 times that of the water temperature sensor.
