Baojun 360 gear handle assembly failed.

1. The automatic transmission shift lever locking mechanism itself fails;

2. Brake light switch and circuit failure;

3. The throttle position sensor (throttle body assembly) is damaged, resulting in high idle signal voltage of the throttle position sensor;

4. Idle speed control valve (IAC) is dirty and stuck in the wide opening position.

Cause 1 and 2 Since the ignition switch is turned on after the flameout, the transmission gear lever can move in all gears after the brake pedal is pressed, so the mechanical or brake light switch and circuit failure of the automatic transmission gear lever locking structure itself can be eliminated.

Thirdly, if the throttle position sensor (throttle body assembly) is damaged, when the throttle is fully closed, ECM/PCM will receive the non-idle throttle opening state, and ECM/PCM will mistakenly think that the accelerator pedal is depressed. For safety purposes, it is forbidden to operate the gear lever to prevent vehicles from rushing out and causing accidents.
