What does cvvl mean?

CVVL is a continuously variable valve lift technology, which is highly advanced in the industry. The lift of the traditional valve train of the traditional engine is fixed, but the working conditions of the engine have different requirements for the valve lift. The mechanism and technology of automobile engine valve timing, also known as continuously variable valve timing system, are widely used in today's high-performance engines. The system adjusts the phase of engine cam or valve lift by controlling the executive system, thus optimizing the valve distribution process of the engine.

High-speed load conditions require large valve lift and long duration, while low-speed load conditions require small valve lift and short duration. However, the traditional valve train can only make the engine achieve the best in a certain working condition, but can not meet all working conditions. CVVL technology solves this problem. It can adjust the valve lift, so that the engine can get the required valve lift in both high-speed and low-speed areas, thus improving the high-speed power and low-speed torque of the engine. How did that happen? CVVL mechanism controls the lifting through eccentric shaft, adjusting arm and connecting arm. Firstly, the CVVL controller accurately controls the CVVL motor through the program, and the CVVL motor drives the eccentric shaft to rotate through the worm gear and worm mechanism. When the eccentric shaft rotates clockwise, the adjusting arm pushes the middle swing arm to move to the left, and the lift force decreases; When the eccentric shaft rotates counterclockwise, the adjusting arm pushes the middle swing arm to move to the right, and the lifting amount increases.
