What does GC-MS do?

GC-MS refers to the gas chromatography-mass spectrometer, which is an analytical instrument for measuring the charge-mass ratio of ions. Among these instruments, there are gas chromatography-quadrupole mass spectrometer, gas chromatography-time-of-flight mass spectrometer and gas chromatography-ion trap mass spectrometer due to their different working principles.

Application of GC-MS function;

Imaging mass spectrometry (IMS) can simultaneously obtain the chemical composition information of the sample and the spatial distribution information of the chemical composition on the surface of the sample, and intuitively reflect the material and spatial distribution of the tested object in the form of images.
