What is the suitable temperature for fishing silver carp and bighead carp?

22-32 degrees. Silver carp and bighead carp are warm-blooded fish, and the suitable water temperature is 25~30℃. They like water bodies with high temperature and high dissolved oxygen, which are mostly distributed in the middle and upper layers of fresh water areas and are suitable for fishing at high temperature.

Judging from the upper water, silver carp and bighead carp like to move in the middle and upper water in midsummer. Therefore, it is best to drift fishing for silver carp and bighead carp in midsummer. Floating can catch more than half a meter, one meter, or even two or three meters, depending on the depth of water at the fishing position, the distance from the fishing position to the shore, and the water layer where the fish is located.

Temperature is also a major factor to determine the underwater depth of bait. When the fishing position is near the shore, the bait should not be too close to the water surface, because silver carp and bighead carp will feel unsafe to get out of the water near the shore, so they should float at the bottom, that is, the bait is several centimeters or even ten centimeters away from the bottom.

If you choose a far place, for example, more than 20 or 30 meters from the shore, silver carp and bighead carp will even go out for food, so you can also catch bait at 20 cm or 30 cm from the water. When the temperature is high around noon, you can catch the water layer closer to the water surface, and when the temperature is low at night, you should catch the water layer deeper from the water surface.
