The method and steps for cleaning the throttle body are as follows: 1. If there is a plastic heat shield on the engine, remove the heat shield; 2. Remove the air pipeline around the throttle and record the position; 3. The side of the throttle near the combustion chamber is generally dirty, and black carbon deposits are the main cleaning parts; 4. Cleaning the throttle is mainly to clean up the carbon deposit. Special cleaning solutions or detergents can be used. These detergents are harmful to human body. Wear gloves and masks when cleaning; 5. Spray the cleaner to the position with more carbon deposits on the throttle and wait for 5- 10 minutes. Using brushes can greatly speed up the removal of carbon deposits. When the carbon deposit is dissolved, you can wipe the cleaner with a towel; 6. Install all air pipes of the cleaned throttle valve in their original positions.
