How to maintain the abnormal sound after starting the motorcycle chain machine?

When the engine is started, because the specific heat capacity of the valve exposed to the combustion chamber is relatively low, the volume is relatively small, that is, the temperature rises faster, the thermal expansion is faster than that of the cylinder head, and the valve clearance becomes smaller.

When the engine is cooling, if the valve clearance is less than the specified value, it will cause the valve rocker arm to squeeze the valve and make it unable to close completely, which may lead to poor compression and unstable idle speed.

After starting, with the overall temperature rise of the engine, because the thermal expansion coefficient of the aluminum alloy cylinder head is larger than that of the steel valve, the once-reduced valve clearance will gradually widen, and the valve clearance will be larger than that when the engine is cooled. If the valve clearance exceeds the allowable value when the engine is cooled, an abnormal "tick" sound will appear after the cylinder head is fully heated.

The solution is: the valve clearance should be adjusted within a suitable range (each model is different, see the technical parameters in the instruction manual for details).

The chains on motorcycles are often exposed in the air during daily riding. Whether it is necessary to refuel depends mainly on the driving environment of the motorcycle.

Under normal circumstances, if the road conditions you often ride are relatively clean and tidy urban roads, you can coat the chain with gear oil, which can effectively maintain the normal use of the chain and prolong its life.

If the riding road is full of mud and sand, don't refuel the chain, which will aggravate the wear of the chain and shorten its service life.
