What is multi-throat direct injection?
Improving the output power of the engine is an important stage for every automobile manufacturer. Multi-throttle direct injection (or single throttle system) technology has always been an effective way to improve engine performance. Many famous manufacturers specializing in excellent engines have applied this technology, but most of the modules originally equipped with this design scheme belong to sports cars and high-end sports cars, which can only be seen on a few medium and heavy modified cars at most, which is scarce and brings a little freshness.
What is a multi-throat multi-throat direct injection system? To put it bluntly, the multi-throat direct injection system is also a separate throttling technology. On the traditional engine, the gas needed for power ignition is introduced into the air inlet from the air inlet, filtered by the air filter element, and then enters the intake branch pipe from the throttle valve, which is mixed with gasoline and diesel to generate a mixed gas, and finally enters the cylinder for ignition. In fact, the structure of multi-throat direct injection is not complicated, but it is only necessary to accurately adjust the cooperation of its high-precision engine parts to achieve the expected practical effect. There is a simple reason. The intake system of this design is to cooperate with each other to develop a high-conversion engine to improve power, and the relativity of engine parts must be strengthened to adapt to the heat energy and impact caused by higher rotation speed. The left side contains a gas collection box to reduce the damage of low torque, and the rightmost one immediately abandons the filter layer, completely ignoring the low-speed specific torque _ output and engine cleanliness, and is mostly used for sports cars, while the right middle one is the most suitable method. The independent throttle of each cylinder can also reduce the net weight of the throttle oil circuit board and improve the response characteristics. Multi-throat direct injection technology can also make the intake branch pipe with the same length that is difficult to achieve, and the shorter intake branch pipe can obviously improve the intake efficiency at high engine speed. The intake branch pipe with improved range and application of intake gate valve has good intake efficiency at high speed, but at low speed ratio, the intake working pressure is not large, the swirl speed decreases and the low-speed torque is damaged. In theory, a very simple way to improve this situation is to increase the engine displacement, but in fact, this can only be carved out from the root. After increasing the displacement, the low-speed torque will still be poor, and more and more is needed at this time. On the other hand, due to the application of independent throttle design scheme in each cylinder, the multi-throat direct injection system requires extremely high throttle control and unreasonable adjustment. At least, the engine is not smooth, endangering the driving force. At the same time, the intake of each cylinder is unbalanced, and the engine finds abnormal vibration. Unreasonable adjustment of the mixed gas produced by the provided oil system will also cause abnormal ignition of the engine, leading to damage. And the cleaning and maintenance of the cylinder and throttle oil circuit board itself must also be paid great attention to. Complex formula and high technical precision undoubtedly increase the manufacturing cost.
Application of multi-throat direct injection system The multi-throat direct injection system was first applied to sports car engines, and F 1 sports car is a very symbolic automobile system. In the application of F 1 sports car with intake engine, the displacement of 3 liters can be above 900 HP, the fuel consumption exceeds 300 HP, and the speed ratio is close to 20,000 rpm, which basically reaches the limit of four-stroke engine. In order to obtain such shocking data information, in addition to the cooperation of high-precision engine parts and their computer systems, the tracking of intake system is also very important. Multi-throat direct injection technology is also very common in the application of turbocharged vehicles. For example, NissanSkylineGTRR34, a well-known RB26DETT engine, is driven by double turbocharging and adopts a multi-throat direct injection system, achieving an energy output of 280 horsepower (traditional data information is "falsely reported" in order to better meet the 280 horsepower limit required by Japanese transportation units before 2006). Back to the air intake system, the air intake of the turbocharged car can be adjusted according to the turbocharger value. Although each cylinder has an independent design scheme, several throttles cooperate with each other, and the unique gas collection box can achieve the purpose similar to the multi-throat direct injection system, improve the intake efficiency and fully extract the driving force of the engine. Super sports cars such as Ferrari and Lamborghini also adopt similar multi-throat direct injection technology, which can reasonably improve the engine power. However, the idealized multi-throat direct injection system can only be applied after delicate calibration and expensive manufacturing cost. At present, it is only used in sports cars and more advanced fashion sports cars. After continuous development and improvement, the multi-throat direct injection system has completely overcome the defects of poor performance, low torque and low fuel consumption.
