Lu' an Drum is a traditional drum book and drum music form with distinctive regional characteristics in the north, also known as "Lu' an old tune". Because it is popular in Gu 'an Prefecture (now Changzhi, Shanxi Province), it is named after it, and it is also known as "Ganbanqiang" and "Lu 'an Drum Book". As early as three years in Qing Dynasty, Dong, a well-known drum artist in Shangdang area, contacted more than 100 artists in eight counties of Lu 'an and set up a "Blind Team", namely the Drum Artists Performance Club, which later developed into a guild organization "Huang San Club". In the 1950s, female artists appeared. The traditional folk drum performance in Lu 'an is that many people rap in circles with drums, three strings, erhu and low Hu. After walking on the high platform, one person usually stands on the drum board and rap, while the other person distributes sanxian and erhu accompaniment.
